Discussion in 'Journals' started by Art Collins, Jan 3, 2009.

  1. Art's futures biases for Mar 31.

A "1" means bullish bias. A "-1" means bearish bias. The total is the sum of biases. A positive sum will be long bias. A negative sum will be a short bias. A sum of zero will be a neutral bias.

  2. Thanks scJohn. Maybe you could get a smoother read by combining and averaging the data for the last week of the current contract and the first week's data of the upcoming contract?

    Using, what I hope is the correct cash symbol(s), I have SP500 = 6, NDX = 6 and RUT = 4.

Looking at the individual components the differences are in the 10-day Average Range. I have 1 and 1 for the SP500 and NDX while Art has -1 and -1 . I will reexamine my coding for the 10-day Average Range.

The CzarCharts are unanimously bullish for the indices in the top either-or box. They are also in unanimous buy mode in the seasonals and also are showing an unusual amount of non-contradicted less-frequent signals in box 2. In short, they're strongly friendly to the stock indices on Wednesday.

  8. Thanks scjohns. You are an accomplished programmer. I struggled with it on NT a couple of years ago but couldn't make it work. So I gave up in favor of offering fervent prayers that Art continues to post his daily tables :)

For Wednesday, the CzarCharts are registering solid buy signals. I'm also expecting a rise in the stock market off the majority of signals, negative readings in the Nasdaq aside.
