Word is Russia is providing assistance to Iran. It would be foolhardy to start a direct war with Iran. Netanyahu already got Haniyeh and Nasrallah and now, Sinwar. He should quit while, he is ahead. Attacking Syria and the Russian airbase there, Yemen and the Houthis and Hezbollah in Lebanon is not the smartest thing. Iran has its own hypersonic missiles, something to be fearful off. Russia is not directly, involved against Israel but, has every incentive after Israel bombed the Russian airbase in Syria. There are reports of Russia providing the Houthis with anti-ship missiles which would make it hazardous even for US warships and aircraft carriers trying to assist Israel.
