Oct 7th debate! Go at it!

  1. So I guess that means NO, you WON'T put your bold proclamation and ET handle on the line. Thank you for answering the question.

As for "duking it out," I'm not a big guy, but I'm no slouch either. If you won, it wouldn't be for free. However, I'm not stupid enough to risk losing teeth because you're afraid to back your own argument in a more civilized manner. Further, I don't think that the memory of fallen heroes is a suitable backdrop for your stupid bluster. Thanks for asking, though. :)

I guess I'm the only one who sees a tight race, even though Obama looks to have pulled ahead out of the margin of error. I think it's too close and too early. I ~would~ go out on a limb and predict Obama the winner but due to the race factor I won't. I wonder if current Obama supporters are going to get to their polling station and say to themselves, "no way, I ain't voting for a black man". Because of the race factor, I ain't making any predictions at all.

One more thing about last night's debate - McCain's war wounds affect his body language. He doesn't have the flexibility to look confident and relaxed. Not having a podium to stand behind is a slight negative for him.

  3. Not True about about Kerry having a bigger lead over Bush

I agree that some racist wont vote for Obama, but the polls don't count many younger Obama voters that only have cell phones with unlimited plans like myself

All credit to james_bond_3rd for the Bush /kerry Poll numbers

"Oh how does the memory fail us? Of 76 polls in the last two months of 2004 election, Bush led in 64 polls, Kerry led in 5 polls, and 7 were ties. Of 18 polls in the last week before 2004 election, Bush led in 14 polls, Kerry led in 3 polls, and one was a tie. Here is a list of polls up to two months prior to 2004 election:

  4. Absolutely! We the people are pretty much screwed.
Right now the only hope I see for Republicans is to put out a bumper sticker that says, McCain 08/Pailn 09.
Whatever one thinks of Palin, without her Mac would be trailing by 15-20 points. Unfortunately her aw shucks, golly gee persona is only reaching the base. I seriously doubt she has persuaded any fence sitters to vote for Mac. Right now only Mac can help Mac, and he looks completely lost and out of touch with 21st century America, at least on a communication level.
