Hopefully protesters will see their passive resistance is getting them nowhere. Bout time to start shooting back. Cops need to make a choice. Defend the empire of robber barons, or side with the people. Let the other side bleed a little and we'll see where this goes. No justice, NO PEACE! http://news.yahoo.com/occupy-protesters-rally-around-wounded-veteran-135137776.html
The majority of the "people" you refer to are a bunch of whiny, smelly parasites who have probably never worked a day in their life...and don't intend to. Anyway, I suggest you go out there with your gun, hero. Send us a Youtube of how it goes. The real injustice are Fed agencies kicking down doors and trying to ruin private businesses (be it Gibson Guitars, vitamin/herb stores, etc.) as the media ignores real assaults on our rights.

Eventually, when people have nothing left to lose, that is what will happen, although I doubt it will be a gun, probably a dirty bomb killing tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands. The sadness is that a bunch of innocent (even if you are in the 1%, what crime against humanity did you commit?) people will die, many of them in the 99%. The message is all wrong. It is not the 1% that is the problem, it is that the 99% are essentially doomed to mere existence with no hope in sight. Taxing the rich more so that we can get welfare checks or social security etc is not the solution. it is better than nothing, but for some reason it no longer works. Maybe it never did, it just "kicked the can down the..." I believe that when a country no longer affords people a decent living that we should move. Hard to believe that the land that welcomes people into NY Harbor with a symbol of freedom with a candle in her hand is the starting point of the immigration, not the destiny. Sadly, people are stuck in a vicious circle. Many of them would go mobile and move to states with jobs if they could, except that their mortgage keeps them forever tied to places with no work because they can't sell their house for numerous reasons. So hard to tell what to do. For example, it is so easy to say, revoke all the Bush tax cuts. How do we know for certain that there aren't lots of people hanging on by these very cuts, e.g., the taxing of dividend cuts? Too bad the constitution did not make explicit what "the pursuit of happiness" means. Certainly, it means the ability to find work be free from the fear of not having a place to live and be able to eat and drink water and be warm sheltered from the elements. Otherwise, what good has ten thousand years of evolution from caves done? What in us allows us to turn our heads at the sight of someone clearly in pain with nothing to their name but the dirty clothes on their back? Even the Gods cry. America has become two worlds under one nation. There are people that are very well off, and within the very same country, there are people living at near third world status. I honestly don't know what the solution is, but I do know that to be able to apply the scientific method to a problem, there must at least be a willingness of people to come together and admit there is a problem.
now they have a group called "The Fifty Three Percent". It started off as joke, but now they have their own website. It's pretty deep when you think about it. How about a class war between the 47% who pay no taxes and the 53% who do? How would that go? Each trying to recruit more soldiers for their side.
The 47% have guns, Thank God, and know how to use them. We all voted for politicians who wrote laws that gamed the system. We the American People are 100% responsible for this mess, and we are 100% responsible for cleaning it up.

No income tax. They pay payroll tax, sales tax, property tax, tolls, fees, etc. and it is a much higher percentage of their income. Estate tax = Paris Hilton tax Sales tax on groceries = the real Death Tax (if you don't eat, you die)
