occupier nut jobs: "Get rid of capitalism and everyone will make $115k per year.

  1. The parasites and tit-suckers receive LOTS AND LOTS FROM OUR SEMI-CAPITALIST SYSTEM... benefits they would not receive should we go "Full Commie" as they apparently and misguidedly seem to prefer... Apparently they never heard the story about "The Goose That Laid The Golden Egg"...

The OWS highlights how GREEDY AND STUPID the average American is... reinforces the stupidity and narrow-sightedness in electing Odumbo...

  2. There is not going to be communism in America.

However, a European-style welfare society and state is all but inevitable, the United States will basically become a giant UK with universal healthcare, perpetual housing and unemployment benefits and yes very very high taxation which will make the current tax cuts debate look like child's play.

This is already historically inevitable, all the signs when Europe made the transition from capitalism or in some cases mercantilism to a welfare state have already manifested in modern American society.

Sure people will become much lazier and society will become less efficient just like across the pond where they take tea breaks all the time, have tons of holidays and work gets done at a snail's pace but their society is still humming along isn't it? London is still one of the financial centres of the world even though its influence has diminished greatly over the last century.

The overall standard of living will go down, there is no doubt about this but it is hardly going to be the Soviet Union or Africa.

The movement is nothing but Free Loading fools for the most part. I'm sure there were some in the movement that believed in ending the Fed, smaller government and the constitution.

"Never let a good crises go to waste" is the Liberal/Socialist model. Hence the hijacking of OWS and now, you have UNIONS, SOCIALIST, FREE LOADERS, ACADEMICS, LIBERALS AND ANARCHIST all bonded together.

They even sit around and and repeat what a "SPEAKER" is saying, like zombies. And it's to get around the "BULLHORN" rules of the city..lol Of course, the fucking fools repeating the words of a "SPEAKER" have never heard of NLP but the leaders of the Misfits have. Speak and Call is an old NLP trick, that I was taught in my Private Equity Training Days. In layperson's term, you get the Person to repeat what you say in a causal conversation and their sub-conscience latches on to your idea.

So, now these pikers are sitting around sucking in "Anti-rich" and Anti-Capitalism" ideas and they think we live in a Democracy, not a Representitive Republic.

So, this movement will grow, it will get violent and places like Chicago, NY, et all will burn as they decide to take on the likes of the "FRENCH REVOLUTION".

Of course that will all come to blows with the police who will waste no time opening fire....then Martial Law will be launched across cities where this idiots are.

Austin's OWS was very small with a few college kids. San Antonio's OWS had 5 people show up, Houston, was alittle bigger as was Dallas but nothing like the movements in the East and West Coast.

Besides, 99% in Texas carry guns in one form or another. So, if "They" want to play the game and start to go after the 1% here in a violent way....plenty of hot lead waiting.

  4. Are you really going to equate America today as some sort of a successful capitalist model? It's a welfare state where the poor bailout the rich & the mass population bails out corporations & banks. So WTF are you talking about?

The reality is that USA is slowly converting into corporate fascism. There is an element of capitalism & open opportunity, but it is a fraction of the total system.

For Christ's sake, the whole banking system is pretty much a dictatorship with zero free market or capitalism concepts in place. Only difference between the Fed and the [insert communist nation] National Bank is which suit they put on.

  5. It's an obvious satire. Hence the comedy of this thread and anyone getting their undies up in a bunch bashing or supporting the article piece.

That seems almost inevitable except for one thing: the financial/debt problems in both the U.S. and Europe. Decreasing productivity along with an increasing nanny state can't go on much longer.

I agree with Niall Ferguson, however, that the days of the U.S. empire are coming to a close. We'll have to stop playing global policeman at some point and start bringing troops home. Hopefully that will be sooner than later, though neither Obama nor any of the Republican candidates besides Ron Paul seem willing to do this.

And all the stuff Obama promised about transparent gov't and green energy/jobs (which defied both physics and economics)....tell me that was all supposed to be a big joke, too?

  8. You are mistaken. Productivity per hour worked is higher in Northern Europe than in USA. Working like a slave in cubicles without holidays and no overtime pay does not motivate you to work harder. Instead it invites you to sabotage the company through manipulation and backstabbing colleagues.
