Yeah, I meant to discuss this sometime, now it's a good opportunity. That thread with 1500 pages starting from 2007 makes me very uncomfortable. I'm more for Hacker News style of threads: https://news.ycombinator.com/ A thread is active one or two days then gets definitively closed. You can read it's history but cannot post anymore in it, if you have more things to say, start another thread. I think it's more in the way of things. Death is a natural thing and threads shouldn't live forever.
