Maybe. But anyone within the church who recommends any improvement is accused by Jack of 'inventing' and told to stop distracting the flock. Rigid doctrine and a very closed approach.

Outside of the church you have the ongoing debate about proof and the lack of public results.

I am sure there is good to be found in a discussion of channel trading. The dialog could move forward by admitting the results promised by Jack are unfounded. And, then identify the merits of each part of SCT. Given the nature of ET that is not going to happen I believe.

Another way to move forward is to separate the discussion of Hershey's approach from what Spydertrader does. Spyder has focused more on the core channel trading methods and techniques without the lies. That progress seems to be held back by Jack. (Probably Spyder would disagree, but if the goal really is to 'help people'; Jack offers little but smoke and mirrors.)

That is pretty strange that you would equate replacing conventional wisdom with open opinion-due diligence with going with some wild eyed guy with a new age cancer cure....

Regarding cancer, CW is closed-minded, closed like a prison cell. I've posted links to FDA oversighted tests where end stage patients, some comatose, were cured with some minerals and good diet. Big Medicine had given them weeks to live, some did not make it, but a large fraction of them were alive years later.

I don't owe you an education. If you can't get it you should be working hard to get it somewhere else. I might go so far as to post in the p&l and post my percentage of JH stuff versus percentage of my own stuff... but you wouldn't really believe me would you??

I've only been looking at Jack's stuff for a month or two and I already figured out that at the very least, the people attacking him are diseased with a very pernicious case of conventional wisdom. You will have to work your own way out of your mess. I have posted several times here on ET, links to sources of brain nutrients. I am not being funny here, conventional wisdom tells us that our food should be giving us everything we need but actual science is showing that not to be the case at all. I did my due diligence in that area and it is paying off, get over it.

You might want to back up those tests with some descriptions and data if you want cred here of course. People disprove TA all the time, they devise a really crappy test, perform it over tons and tons of data to make it credible and they get little grants to study something for their efforts I suppose. Guess what, there are no grants on ET, ok?? If this subject is so important to you and you did all those tests you should have them up on a website somewhere, websites are cheap and easy nowadays.

  6. Damn that LBFM was tight! But now I've got to make some cash back, and where better to fund illicit activities than with the ill-gotten gains of trading? I love to start anti-Jack threads because I always learn something from them, even if nobody else does.

What I learned new in the last few days is that the B-Team is fundamentally iconoclastic (although they are not averse to the occasional iconoclasm), doubtful, uncredulous, logical, probing, and, in the main, rude. My kinda guys and gals!

I think you could safely say of us that we wouldn't trade SCT, even if we thought it worked, because JACK promotes it. We are anticlerical, and not in the slightest interested in being saved by Saint Jack, because we are quite proud of our sins. You see, that's the real rub. Jack thinks that anyone who isn't ALREADY a successful trader, or who doubts his method, is psychologically disturbed, immature, a born loser, recalcitrant (all those things which I am). And he wants to cure you by having you "do the work". You must be healthy before you are allowed to make money.

Well, fuck that. I'm too old to change, and I LIKE being degenerate, so I'm just going to make money MY way!

P.S.: I get the most amazing PMs, presumably from virtuous women, who brand me wicked, evil, disgusting, reprehensible, contemptible, and those are the compliments. If true, why don't bad girls ever PM me?

  7. Trader666, would you mind sharing what testing you have done concerning the ES (or provide a link maybe to where you speak about it?). Thanks.

  8. ...and a good mantra. Don't forget the mantra. And no doubt, the mystic will take credit if spontaneous remission should occur. And if remission should not occur, then the patient was probably chewing the minerals on the wrong side of his mouth. But not to worry, there is always reincarnation. So be sure to hold on to his business card.

Engineer, eh? Then you should probably know a little something about spurious correlation. I'm not suggesting that proper diet is not important in battling illness, but I'll leave you with the magic potions. Tell you what. If we should have the misfortune of getting cancer, I'll go conventional and you go new age.

That is weird, not CW = "magic potions". The reward of not having an open opinion and doing the necessary due diligence seems to be the right to scoff and belittle.

We have a relative with the big C, diagnosed last year. I mentioned alternatives to him, he went with the CW, I can't stand the guy so I did not try to educate/dissuade him, he went through hell, has a few weeks to go, and happily, my wife is inheriting his So. Cal real estate. Those kind of uninformed decisions are not good as far as I can tell from his case or the statistics. On the other hand I have met a few people that cured themselves, some before and some after the chemo/radiation and they had a lot to tell me and were not making any money off the knowledge at all.

In another case I cured my bursitis, classified by the doctors as incurable I believe, one of them told me "if you cured it then it was misdiagnosed". CW stays CW because it is a protected thing. The only penalty to circumventing it comes when somebody finds out, otherwise it really is up to every individual how much they buy into it.
