No cite? The consensus is that you're incorrect. Google search: do white collar criminals get lighter sentences for additional links. One of the links: Is white-collar crime treated more leniently in the US? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-47477754 I'm not asking for a discussion, but if you have a question for me, feel free to ask, and if I'm interested in debating that issue, I may engage. Of course, I'll let you know either way.
He's notorious for doing that. He's been caught making stuff up,claiming it as fact than telling the other party to look it up themselves when asked for sources
I would not hold up the poster boy for the most notorious and heinous white collar crime out there as the norm... Here is some interesting reading on securities fraud and sentencing: https://www.ussc.gov/sites/default/...cations/quick-facts/Securities_Fraud_FY18.pdf Average sentence is 4.5 years.
OK... I will have to agree after reading the information that white collar criminals are treated more leniently than the suggested guidelines for sentencing. I stand corrected. But note the average sentence is 54 months according to the USSC which is about 4 1/2 years. It is not a mere 1 or 3 years as pushed earlier in this thread. The USSC document is interesting because it outlines the percentages of white collar criminals who received sentences above and below the guidelines.
My bad, I misunderstood you. Yes, we're on the same page regarding him/her. I'm a 'he' btw. I have a way to automatically see posts by people I've ignored, or that have ignored me (via custom browser code modification). But it only works when 'they' initiate the post, not when they're quoted. Not yet, at least.
I can't speak to the '1 to 3 years' issue, as I wasn't part of that discussion. But I appreciate you double-checking and reporting back.
maybe they should 'eye for an eye' kind of vengeance. Drop them one at a time until that mo-fo goes to prison. Make it known that it will continue until that cop goes to prison. period. sorry bro but I'm heated up on this issue. Dexter Style.
