Dont be surprised that newspaper always publishes hysterical articles about immigrants, non-whites,jews etc.

    There is no objectivity.

e.g when a white person commits murder they usually dont mention race( its man 6 feet tall) but if any non-white does the same, race is mentioned usually with bigot comment like an uncivilised animal that should be caged (jail), even before jury.

They consider themselves to be the police, judge, jury , hangman and undertaker.

  2. 1) Not sure what news you watch/read, but I haven't heard a single negative peep about Obama before, during, or after the election.

    2) I agree, Bush is leaving a mess. However, Clinton left a mess for Bush (although the news gave Clinton a free pass).

  3. I had read an interesting example of assigning blame during the Carter administration and noteworthy because it was the media and the public's perception that taught the politicians a lesson on who's to blame.

Basically, Jimmy Carter did a photo shoot on the blight in the Bronx. The living conditions, squalor and lack of services (garbage pick up, no investment money, etc.).

Carter then tried to address the problem ( the bureaucracy challenge, funding, political will via fed, state, local agencies) ultimately resulted in nothing being done or minimal progress.

As time passed, the media re visited his progress, since progress was nil, they opined he didn't care, now the issue becomes Carter's fault. he did nothing.

Point being, politician have to be careful of talking directly about issues where they could become viewed as being the cause of the problem.

  5. Yeah, but nothing quite so hits the spot as a touch of false attribution, eh? (And even though it's only an editorial!)

A True Independent Launches His Campaign For President Of The United States

(Paris, Tennessee) - - Lawrence W. Lee has stepped to the front of the line and has announced that he is a candidate for the office of President Of The United States in 2012. Unlike those who have taken this step in an effort for self promotion or to serve as a novelty act, Mr. Lee has launched his Presidential campaign with sincere, important goals and ideas in mind.

After observing the recent evolution of the political process and the disconnect that has grown between the career politicians and the citizens of The United States, Lawrence Lee realized that there’s a need for someone to lead a serious examination of the political process. Mr. Lee also has observed that there’s a void of discussion about the issues that concern the people of America.

This void has developed on two fronts. The career politicians have turned their backs to the voters and instead have given favor to those with the money. More important is the lack of impact that many voters feel they have. This idea has caused many to walk away and ignore the process that was designed to give the power of our Republic to the people. That is a primary reason why many ineffective career politicians are returned to their seats election after election.

Lawrence is hoping to spark educational conversation and debates of substance regarding the issues that impact our nation. Whether it’s taxes and federal spending, education and energy, healthcare and immigration, national security and the War On Terror, Independent Presidential candidate Lawrence W. Lee will work to remind every American that their voice is the voice that must be heard. He’ll remind citizens of all ages, genders and races that they have a role and a right to guide the direction America takes in her many days that lie ahead. Our founding fathers intended each day of the life of America to be one of honor. It’s the duty of all, not merely a chosen few, to work together to preserve and protect that honor.

After observing the acts and words that were a part of the 2008 Presidential campaign, Lawrence Lee realized that change and a maverick attitude need to be more than frequently repeated slogans. Leading up to the 2008 Presidential election Lee stated, “I know that no matter who wins, we face another four years of partisan bickering, lies, duplicity and scandals.”

Lawrence Lee does not want his campaign to be looked at or thought of as an outlet for the angry fringe. His goal instead is to create an outlet of action and unity for the large number of American citizens, who like Mr. Lee, have decided that our political system is broken and stagnant. Lawrence Lee’s campaign for President in 2012 is one that encourages all to share their voice and views. Mr. Lee believes that this is the only way that our system of government can once again be placed in the hands of the people of The United States. Lawrence Lee has launched his official Presidential campaign website (http://www.leein2012.com).

Mr. Lee’s detailed positions and thoughts on the major issues that impact America are featured. The Lawrence Lee For President In 2012 website is also the means by which people can connect with Mr. Lee to share their thoughts. As time progresses,Mr. Lee’s website will become a center for the exchange of ideas and the encouragement for all to get involved. Also on his Presidential campaign website, Mr. Lee demonstrates his dedication to a realistic approach to politics. He has vowed to run his campaign strictly through small donations of no more than $100 from American citizens rather than big money political machines who invest in career politicians so they will do their bidding while ignoring the rights and needs of American citizens.

Lawrence Lee is anticipating an exciting and educational opportunity for all American citizens with his campaign for President. It will be a campaign of involvement, ideas, conversation, discovery and true independence.

Actually, I don't know what they all say and wouldn't care if I did. I have no control over whether others lie, dissemble, prevaricate, or tell the truth. But I do have control over what I say. And I say that I'm telling the truth. No secret desires. No rabbits from hats. No smoke and mirrors. No hidden agendas. And I know that the only way I'll convince people of this is by being steadfast and consistent. I'm no porn star or muscled wrestler. I don't intend to be a sideshow. And I'm going to do everything in my power to make it so.
