    Thanks guys, Lucrum and pspr, that's what I was asking for, some background, etc. I do agree with the original piece that was posted and I wanted to see more of the same reasoning. Kind of scary if we don't fix the situation.

    Here’s what one of my favorite political thinkers of the past (Alexis de Tocqueville) said: “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. ” And “A (poorly run) democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it. ” These quotes actually apply very well to our situation as shaped by the Obama administration these days... Oh well.
