Thanks guys, Lucrum and pspr, that's what I was asking for, some background, etc. I do agree with the original piece that was posted and I wanted to see more of the same reasoning. Kind of scary if we don't fix the situation. Hereâs what one of my favorite political thinkers of the past (Alexis de Tocqueville) said: âThe American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. â And âA (poorly run) democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it. â These quotes actually apply very well to our situation as shaped by the Obama administration these days... Oh well.
Or, those who pass legislation creating a poor health care system for the public are allowed to avoid it and use their own superior health care system.
