Tax cuts for the rich surely did wonders for the economy!?!

This country needs more liberal economists like Krugman who can foresee the trainwrecks of flawed republican policies, ie Conan The Deceiver . Amazing how the budget deficit would've gone from $38 billion to $8 billion to 0 if Arnold had left everything alone.

I'm sorry to say, but it's very possible we are headed that way, now that >50% of voters will not pay any income tax.

IMO, voters that pay income tax should be given a higher vote count on some kind of ascending scale. The more you pay, the more vote units you get to vote with.

 

Bush was in no way a fiscal conservative.

He was a social and foreign policy conservative.
