  2. The North won the Civil War, only the losers of that war and their kin, ilk, and klan think the war was executed badly...

The only real complaint I have is with Andrew Johnson and the amnesty given to the Dixie klan after Lee's surrender and Lincoln's death.

I have to admit - the lack of direction during the occupation made me fuzzy on the other reasons given...

    wikipedia had this-

Other reasons for the invasion stated by US officials included Iraq's financial support for the families of Palestinian suicide bombers,[55] Iraqi government human rights abuses,[56] and an effort to spread democracy in the country and region.[57] Some officials admitted Iraq's oil reserves were a factor in the decision to invade,[58][59][60][61][62] but other officials then denied this.[63][64]

I think I was sympathetic to the spreading of democracy.

Its just that the execution was so poor, I wonder if that justification was ever really a goal.

I wonder why they did not create a real counter for al jeezera. (sp?)

I wonder why the oil infrastructure was not protected and rebuilt in a manner that created substantial revenue for the rebuilding and repayment. I remember that was part of the plan.

It was all so pathetic it almost had to be by design. The neo cons seemed to return to the prior goals of socialism and communism (and by implication cronyism.) In my mind the neo con cabal were traitors. Their actions destroyed core of Republicans and sullied the name of real conservatives.
If you spend any time researching the founders of the neo con movement, you become very suspicious.

You combine neo cons with Bush seniors eastern liberal background and you almost have to bet they saw an opportunity to destroy conservatives and at the same time transfer vast amounts of wealth.

It seems destablization was the plan as so little was done in a timely and powerful manner.

So now after the eastern elites destroyed the name of conservatism the door was wide open for Obama to transfer more wealth to the bankers and at the same time destroy upward mobility. He is also wiping out the middle class with inflation and taxation.

And hoping to permanently turn the country into a well oiled liberal machine of hopelessness. Just see California and big cities on the east coast.

We have been so screwed by the people who could transfer wealth it is sickening.

And the sad thing is as we speak we have liberal dopes (perhaps plants) on elitetrader and the media buying into Obama's message of Change.

Obama change is the end game. The final nail in the coffin of the middle class and hardworking small business owners.

Just what we need oppressive taxes, a government which crowds out the private sector, burdens private workers with overpaid government workers, and a tax system which confiscates wealth and capital from the people who could use it most productively.

yeah thats a change to believe in.

I worked in a medical implantable company that was taken over by some real crooked trash... they destroyed the quality system that had taken decades to get in place, they sold stuff that killed people.. they made lots of money... so I stuck around thinking I could blow the whistle on them... forget it, you never win, if the US goes that way it's over... just go somewhere you can be happy...
