I was addressing the quote. If Bill Clinton said, "I think the world is flat" and I said that was a bit naive of Bill Clinton I am not actually calling Bill Clinton naive in general. I am calling his quote naive. How in the world do you not see the difference? With your logic anyone who calls someone naive because of one single incident must be calling them naive for life! If someone says something slightly racist and their friend says that was a bit racist, with your logic their friend is calling them a pure racist.

Well in any event Franklin was a smart guy who saw this coming. The major despots always claim they are looking out for the common people. By using the treasury to buy people you can gain tremendous power and they will willingly give up their freedom. It's the same story told over and over, the ending is always the same.
