The idea was to have a big seizure with a lot of scary looking AK's spread out on a table or in front of some mexicans and use it to force congress to impose draconian limits of semi-auto rifles, eg "assault" weapon bans, Federal background check for rifle purchases, regristration of long guns. A series of articles ran in the Washngotn Post over the spring about gun running to mexico and how big a problem it was and how ATF didnpt have the tools to stop it, etc, etc. It was all orchestrated with anti-gun groups and ATF, and they clearly planned to have a big seizure to cap it all off. Instead , they got a Border Patrol agent killed.

In addition, ammunition price is WAY up, and that's if you can find in stock what you're looking for. Has anyone noticed the gun t.v. shows that are now on such as Discovery Channel's "American Guns, Sons of Guns," etc.,? Guns are once again popular again in America like they should be as they are the tools that allow CITIZENS to maintain their freedom, and be free from out of control government, and anarchy. IF this disaster of a communist administration starts pulling shit with guns, I predict that THIS time the citizens of America won't take it as they did under slick willy clinton. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it. You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late.
