  1. Rahm Emanuel and Obama’s Civilian Security Force

As Paul Joseph Watson notes this morning, Obama’s apparent pick for chief of staff, Illinois Democrat Rahm Emanuel, is disturbing in light of the fact he is a staunch supporter of reactionary forces in Israel and his father was an Irgun terrorist.

“The son of a man who helped carry out this slaughter [the Deir Yassin massacre of Palestinians] has now been selected by Obama to be his chief-of-staff. Cries of ’sins of the father’ lose their gusto when one considers the fact that, after the 1996 re-election of Bill Clinton, Rahm Emanuel ‘Was so angry at the president’s enemies that he stood up at a celebratory dinner with colleagues from the campaign, grabbed a steak knife and began rattling off a list of betrayers, shouting “Dead! … Dead! … Dead!” and plunging the knife into the table after every name.’ Sounds like a nice guy,” writes Watson. (Emphasis mine.)

Emanuel’s emotional response to Clinton’s enemies reveals how he will likely deal with new perceived enemies as Obama’s right-hand man. In his book, The Plan: Big Ideas for America, published in 2006, Emanuel sketches out his ideas on how to “fight against the spread of evil and totalitarianism.” In addition to fortifying “the military’s ‘thin green line’ around the world by adding to the U.S. Special Forces and the Marines, and by expanding the U.S. army by 100,000 more troops,” Emanuel suggests “we must protect our homeland and civil liberties by creating a new domestic counterterrorism force like Britain’s MI5.”

“A new domestic spying operation is an obvious threat to our civil liberties,” notes John Walsh in response to Emanuel’s suggestion. “MI5 holds secret files on one in 160 adults in Britain along with files on 53,000 organizations.” It should be noted that MI5 also specialized in the infiltration of British unions and was responsible for directing many of the IRA’s atrocities.

Rahm Emanuel’s ideas on defeating the alleged specter of “domestic counterterrorism” dovetail with frightening precision with Obama’s declaration that once elected he will create a Civilian Security Force “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the U.S. military. “People of all ages, stations, and skills will be asked to serve.”

The U.S. Army alone has nearly 500,000 troops, not counting the National Guard. “Is Obama serious about creating some kind of domestic security force bigger and more expensive than that?” muses Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily. “If not, why did he say it? What did he mean?”

It should be obvious what he meant, although we cannot expect the corporate media to fill in the blanks. If Obama’s soon-to-be chief of staff stabs a knife into a table as a form of punctuation while denouncing the enemies of his former boss, Bill Clinton, it does not take a lot of imagination to predict how Obama’s Civilian Security Force will be used.

Is it possible the acorn does not fall far from the tree? Emanuel’s father belonged to a terrorist organization that killed the opposition, including women and children. Is it possible this psychopathic mindset was passed on to his son and will now manifest itself in Obama’s Civilian Security Force?

  2. Emanuel one of the biggest recipients of Wall Street money in Congress

President-elect Barack Obama’s choice for White House chief of staff is one of the biggest recipients of Wall Street money in Congress, according to a Washington, D.C.-based “money-in-politics” watchdog group.

The Center for Responsive Politics has issued a report highlighting millions of dollars in campaign contributions that Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) has raised from individuals working in the hedge fund industry, private equity firms, and large investment firms.

Emanuel has raised more money from individuals and political action committees in securities and investment businesses than from any other industry.

This comes after a presidential campaign that saw Obama frequently criticize Wall Street and blamed lack of government regulations for the economic crisis that hit the country in mid-September.

Emanuel, a former Clinton White House aide, is chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and received much of the credit for the Democrats winning a majority in the House of Representatives in 2006 – the first time in 12 years.

  3. No “Change” In Israeli Manipulation Of U.S. Foreign Policy Under Obama

    Paul Joseph Watson

    Friday, November 7, 2008

President elect Barack Obama’s first act of “change” upon winning the Democratic presidential nomination back in June was to don a joint US-Israeli label pin, head on over to AIPAC and prostrate himself in front of the Israeli lobby, vowing to keep military action in mind for Iran and promising to hand over another $30 billion of American taxpayers’ money in military assistance to the Zionist state.

Along with his recent appointment of Rahm Emanuel, the once Israeli army soldier who likes to make death threats to his political enemies while manically plunging a knife into a dinner table, Israel has little reason to worry that the man who promised “change” will lift a finger to change Israeli manipulation of American foreign policy.

Indeed, when Emanuel’s appointment was confirmed, top Israeli newspaper the Maariv Daily hailed the news with the headline, “Our man in the White House.”

Another Israeli news outlet, Y Net, reports, “Emanuel is pro-Israeli, and would not be willing to consider accepting the job unless he was convinced that President-elect Obama is pro-Israel.”

It seems that Obama has already answered the question of whether he can be a more hardcore Israel hard-liner than George W. Bush - ‘yes he can’!

Harking back to a Washington Post report about Obama’s visit to AIPAC, we find that Obama “even outdid President Bush in his pro-Israel sentiments,” garnering 13 standing ovations and even trying out a Hebrew phrase on the crowd.

The Post said Obama “sounded as if he were Jewish,” as he told the crowd, “I had grown up without a sense of roots, I understood the Zionist idea, that there is always a homeland at the center of our story.”

We also learn that Obama “offered more military equipment and missile defense for Israel, vowed to “isolate Hamas,” and threatened to “do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything in my power. . . . Everything.”

“The danger from Iran is grave, it is real, and my goal will be to eliminate this threat,” said Obama, “I will always keep the threat of military action on the table to defend our security and our ally, Israel. Do not be confused.”

If the first few days of Obama’s preparations for the Oval Office, he has sent out a clear signal that if anything he will be more pro-Zionist than the Bush regime, firstly by his already established submissive fealty to AIPAC and secondly with his appointment of ‘The Enforcer’ Rahm Emanuel as chief-of-staff, the son of a Zionist terrorist who helped the widely condemned Irgun group bomb hotels, marketplaces and carry out massacres in the 1940’s.

Obama has already begun to deliver on the “change” that he had promised all along. The Bush administration bent over backwards to accommodate Israel and acted on their desire to invade Iraq, yet stopped short of the fulfilling Israel’s demand to attack Iran. It seems Obama, with his “military option on the table” rhetoric and his installment of a hardcore pro-Israel sympathizer in the White House, is pandering to an even greater extent.

  4. Obama’s Council On Foreign Relations Crew

Meet some of president elect Obama’s leading foreign and domestic policy advisors and likely administration members, every one of them a prominent member of the Council On Foreign Relations.

Will these people bring about "change" or will they continue to hold up the same entrenched system forged by the corporate elite for decades?

Will these people bring about "change" or will they continue to hold up the same entrenched system forged by the corporate elite for decades?

Susan E. Rice - Council on Foreign Relations, The Brookings Institution - Served as Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs under Clinton from 1997 to 2001. Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright is a longtime mentor and family friend to Rice. Critics charge that she is is ill disposed towards Europe, has little understanding of the Middle East and would essentially follow the same policies of Condoleeza Rice if appointed the next Secretary of State or the National Security Adviser.

Anthony Lake - CFR, PNAC - Bill Clinton’s first national security adviser, who was criticized for the administration’s failure to confront the genocide in Rwanda in 1994 and now acknowledges the inaction as a major mistake.

Zbigniew Brzezinski - CFR, Trilateral Commission - Brzezinski is widely seen as the man who created Al Qaeda, and was involved in the Carter Administration plan to give arms, funding and training to the mujahideen in Afghanistan.

Richard Clarke - CFR - Former chief counter-terrorism adviser on the U.S. National Security Council under Bush. Notoriously turned against the Bush administration after 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq. Also advised Madeleine Albright during the Genocide in Rwanda.

Ivo Daalder - CFR, Brookings, PNAC - Co-authored a Washington Post op-ed with neocon Robert Kagan arguing that interventionism is a bipartisan affair that should be undertaken with the approval of our democratic allies.

Dennis Ross - CFR, Trilateral Commission, PNAC - Served as the director for policy planning in the State Department under President George H. W. Bush and special Middle East coordinator under President Bill Clinton. A noted supporter of the Iraq war, Ross is also a Foreign Affairs Analyst for the Fox News Channel.

Lawrence Korb - CFR, Brookings - Director of National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. Has criticized manor of the invasion of Iraq but has detailed plans to increase the manpower of the United States Army to fight the war on terror and to "spread liberal democratic values throughout the Middle East".

Bruce Reidel - CFR, Brookings - Former CIA analyst who wishes to expand the war on terror to fight Al Qaeda across the globe. Considered to be the reason behind Barack Obama’s Hawkish views on Pakistan and his Pro India leanings on Kashmir.

Stephen Flynn - CFR - Has been attributed with the idea for Obama’s much vaunted "Civilian Security Force". Flynn has written: "The United States should roughly replicate the Federal Reserve model by creating a Federal Security Reserve System (FSRS) with a national board of governors, 10 regional Homeland Security Districts, and 92 local branches called Metropolitan Anti-Terrorism Committees. The objective of this system would be to develop self-funding mechanisms to more fully engage a broad cross-section of American society to protect the country’s critical foundations from the widespread disruption that would arise from a terrorist attack."

Madeline Albright - CFR, Brookings - Currently serves on the Council on Foreign Relations Board of directors. Secretary of State and US Ambassador to the United Nations under Clinton. Did not take action against the genocide in Rwanda. Defended the sanctions against Iraq under Saddam Hussein. When asked by CBS’s 60 Minutes about the effects of sanctions: "We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?" Albright replied: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price — we think the price is worth it."

This is by no means an exhaustive list. Of course, had John McCain become president, being a member of the CFR himself, his administration would have been replete with CFR representatives also. Max Boot, Lawrence Eagleburger and Henry Kissinger, to name but a few, are all CFR members and were all advisors to the McCain campaign.

Please do your own research and add more names in the comments section of this report. It is important to document how these people are a part of the engine of global elitism and do not represent change. Only with this understanding will others wake up to the false left-right paradigm and be able to create the environment for real political change.

If the change President-elect Obama has promised includes a halt to America’s wars of aggression and an end to the rip-off of taxpayers by powerful financial interests, what explains Obama’s choice of foreign and economic policy advisors? Indeed, Obama’s selection of Rahm Israel Emanuel as White House chief of staff is a signal that change ended with Obama’s election. The only thing different about the new administration will be the faces.

Rahm Israel Emanuel is a supporter of Bush’s invasion of Iraq. Emanuel rose to prominence in the Democratic Party as a result of his fundraising connections to AIPAC. A strong supporter of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, he comes from a terrorist family. His father was a member of Irgun, a Jewish terrorist organization that used violence to drive the British and Palestinians out of Palestine in order to create the Jewish state. During the 1991 Gulf War, Rahm Israel Emanuel volunteered to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. He was a member of the Freddie Mac board of directors and received $231,655 in directors fees in 2001. According to Wikipedia, "during the time Emanuel spent on the board, Freddie Mac was plagued with scandals involving campaign contributions and accounting irregularities."

In "Hail to the Chief of Staff," Alexander Cockburn describes Emanuel as "a super-Likudnik hawk," who as chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2006 "made great efforts to knock out antiwar Democratic candidates."

My despondent friends in the Israeli peace movement ask, "What is this man doing in Obama’s administration?"

Obama’s election was necessary as the only means Americans had to hold the Republicans accountable for their crimes against the Constitution and human rights, for their violations of US and international laws, for their lies and deceptions, and for their financial chicanery. As an editorial in Pravda put it, "Only Satan would have been worse than the Bush regime. Therefore it could be argued that the new administration in the USA could never be worse than the one which divorced the hearts and minds of Americans from their brothers in the international community, which appalled the rest of the world with shock and awe tactics that included concentration camps, torture, mass murder and utter disrespect for international law."

But Obama’s advisers are drawn from the same gang of Washington thugs and Wall Street banksters as Bush’s. Richard Holbrooke, son of Russian and German Jews, was an assistant secretary of state and ambassador in the Clinton administration. He implemented the policy to enlarge NATO and to place the military alliance on Russia’s border in contravention of Reagan’s promise to Gorbachev. Holbrooke is also associated with the Clinton administration’s illegal bombing of Serbia, a war crime that killed civilians and Chinese diplomats. If not a neocon himself, Holbrooke is closely allied with them.

According to Wikipedia, Madeline Albright was born Marie Jana Korbelova in Prague to Jewish parents who had converted to Catholicism in order to escape persecution. She is the Clinton era secretary of state who told Leslie Stahl (60 Minutes) that the US policy of Iraq sanctions, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children, had goals important enough to justify the children’s deaths. Albright’s infamous words: "we think the price is worth it." Wikipedia reports that this immoralist served on the board of directors of the New York Stock Exchange at the time of Dick Grasso’s $187.5 million compensation scandal.

Dennis Ross has long associations with the Israeli-Palestinian "peace negotiations." A member of his Clinton era team, Aaron David Miller, wrote that during 1999-2000 the US negotiating team led by Ross acted as Israel’s lawyer: "we had to run everything by Israel first." This "stripped our policy of the independence and flexibility required for serious peacemaking. If we couldn’t put proposals on the table without checking with the Israelis first, and refused to push back when they said no, how effective could our mediation be?" According to Wikipedia, Ross is "chairman of a new Jerusalem-based think tank, the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute, funded and founded by the Jewish Agency."

Clearly, this is not a group of advisors that is going to halt America’s wars against Israel’s enemies or force the Israeli government to accept the necessary conditions for a real peace in the Middle East.

Ralph Nader predicted as much. In his "Open Letter to Barack Obama (November 3, 2008), Nader pointed out to Obama that his "transformation from an articulate defender of Palestinian rights . . . to a dittoman for the hard-line AIPAC lobby" puts Obama at odds with "a majority of Jewish-Americans" and "64% of Israelis." Nader quotes the Israeli writer and peace advocate Uri Avnery’s description of Obama’s appearance before AIPAC as an appearance that "broke all records for obsequiousness and fawning." Nader damns Obama for his "utter lack of political courage [for] surrendering to demands of the hard-liners to prohibit former president Jimmy Carter from speaking at the Democratic National Convention." Carter, who achieved the only meaningful peace agreement between Israel and the Arabs, has been demonized by the powerful AIPAC lobby for criticizing Israel’s policy of apartheid toward the Palestinians whose territory Israel forcibly occupies.

Obama’s economic team is just as bad. Its star is Robert Rubin, the bankster who was secretary of the treasury in the Clinton administration. Rubin has responsibility for the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act and, thereby, responsibility for the current financial crisis. In his letter to Obama, Nader points out that Obama received unprecedented campaign contributions from corporate and Wall Street interests. "Never before has a Democratic nominee for President achieved this supremacy over his Republican counterpart."

Obama’s victory speech was magnificent. The TV cameras scanning faces in the audience showed the hope and belief that propelled Obama into the presidency. But Obama cannot bring change to Washington. There is no one in the Washington crowd that he can appoint who is capable of bringing change. If Obama were to reach outside the usual crowd, anyone suspected of being a bringer of change could not get confirmed by the Senate. Powerful interest groups–AIPAC, the military-security complex, Wall Street–use their political influence to block unacceptable appointments.

As Alexander Cockburn put it in his column, "Obama, the first-rate Republican," "never has the dead hand of the past had a ‘reform’ candidate so firmly by the windpipe." Obama confirmed Cockburn’s verdict in his first press conference as president-elect. Disregarding the unanimous US National Intelligence Estimate, which concluded that Iran stopped working on nuclear weapons five years ago, and ignoring the continued certification by the International Atomic Energy Agency that none of the nuclear material for Iran’s civilian nuclear reactor has been diverted to weapons use, Obama sallied forth with the Israel Lobby’s propaganda and accused Iran of "development of a nuclear weapon" and vowing "to prevent that from happening." http://news.antiwar.com/2008/11/07/obama-hits-out-at-iran-closemouthed-on-tactics/

The change that is coming to America has nothing to do with Obama. Change is coming from the financial crisis brought on by Wall Street greed and irresponsibility, from the eroding role of the US dollar as reserve currency, from countless mortgage foreclosures, from the offshoring of millions of America’s best jobs, from a deepening recession, from pillars of American manufacturing–Ford and GM–begging the government for taxpayers’ money to stay alive, and from budget and trade deficits that are too large to be closed by normal means.

Traditionally, the government relies on monetary and fiscal policy to lift the economy out of recession. But easy money is not working. Interest rates are already low and monetary growth is already high, yet unemployment is rising. The budget deficit is already huge–a world record–and the red ink is not stimulating the economy. Can even lower interest rates and even higher budget deficits help an economy that has moved offshore, leaving behind jobless consumers overburdened with debt?

How much more can the government borrow? America’s foreign creditors are asking this question. An official organ of the Chinese ruling party recently called for Asian and European countries to "banish the US dollar from their direct trade relations, relying only on their own currencies."

"Why," asks another Chinese publication, "should China help the US to issue debt without end in the belief that the national credit of the US can expand without limit?"

The world has tired of American hegemony and had its fill of American arrogance. America’s reputation is in tatters: the financial debacle, endless red ink, Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, rendition, torture, illegal wars based on lies and deception, disrespect for the sovereignty of other countries, war crimes, disregard for international law and the Geneva Conventions, the assault on habeas corpus and the separation of powers, a domestic police state, constant interference in the internal affairs of other countries, boundless hypocrisy.

The change that is coming is the end of American empire. The hegemon has run out of money and influence. Obama as "America’s First Black President" will lift hopes and, thus, allow the act to be carried on a little longer. But the New American Century is already over.

  9. Obama Consigliere “Rahmbo” Emanuel Sent Dead Fish to Foe

    Kurt Nimmo
    Infowars.com
    November 10, 2008

Rahm Emanuel is better known by his nickname “Rahmbo”, for once he mailed a dead fish to a Democratic pollster who turned disloyal during a US Congressional race when Bill Clinton ran for his first bid to the Presidency.

It appears Rahm Emanuel has what it takes to be a leading figure in the coming Obama crime syndicate. According to Sify News, back when Emanuel worked for the Clinton campaign he sent a dead fish to a turncoat.

Rahm Emanuel, who has accepted Barack Obama’s offer to be his chief of staff at the White House’, is better known by his nickname “Rahmbo”, for once he mailed a dead fish to a Democratic pollster who turned disloyal during a US Congressional race when Bill Clinton ran for his first bid to the Presidency.

Outraged at “disloyal Democrats” during Clinton’s first presidential campaign, he stunned dinner companions by rattling off names of the offenders, each time stabbing the restaurant table with a dinner knife and shouting, “Dead”, reported Fox News.

In Mafia lore, sending a dead fish to somebody means they “sleep with the fishes,” that is to say they are marked for murder. No word if the turncoat pollster ended up dead but considering the trail of dead people associated with the Clinton crime family it is a distinct possibility.

“The Illinois congressman, after all, is best known as something of a Democratic political assassin,” reports the Los Angeles Times. “From his days as a top aide to President Clinton to his recent role leading the Democrats to a House majority, Emanuel has relentlessly attacked his foes and gone ruthlessly after anyone who stood in his way.” Obama selected Rahmbo because “he may need someone practiced in the art of political hardball” and apparently stabbing knives in tables and threatening to kill opponents gangland style.

Rahmbo’s services may be required after the economy crashes and new total war fronts open in Pakistan and Iran. As Jerome Corsi and a few anti-Obama activists in Missouri discovered, if you attack Obama you’re in for a world of hurt. Chuckie Schumer gave us a small preview of things to come under Obama’s rule when he said the Democrats will use the “Fairness Doctrine” against talk radio. Obama has promised to organize a domestic Stasi in the name of “national security” and it does not take a lot of imagination to figure out how this will be used with a guy at Obama’s side who figuratively threatens to murder the opposition.

However, according to House Republican Leader John Boehner, we need not worry about consigliere Rahmbo because he has “mellowed over the years” and apparently no longer acts like a Mafia thug.
