The intelligence in the report, based on its classification, indicate the information was derived from National Security Agency intercepts in Kenya. No one was ever charged in the assassination of Kariuki.

The intecepts of Mboya’s and Kariuki’s associates are an indication that the NSA and CIA also maintain intercepts on Barack Obama, Sr., who, as a non-U.S. person, would have been lawfully subject at the time to intercepts carried out by NSA and Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ).

Worth every penny.

I read those memos showing faculty colluding to remove Obama Sr. but I'm not troubled by it. If you know anything about the process you know there are many people who complete their coursework and then just languish in some laboratory or teaching assistant position and cannot seem to produce the orginal work needed for their dissertation. You don't get a Ph.D by learning stuff, you get a Ph.D by applying your knowledge to learn something *new*.

If you just hang around waiting for your degree while they are giving you financial assistance they will eventually find a way to gently send you home. Gently, because of that brilliant doctoral candidate mathmetician at Stanford or Berkely who, when denied his Ph.D after failing his oral defense of the dissertation he'd written, smashed his advisor's brains in with a hammer and is sitting in prison in Pelican Bay. I believe that was in the late 60s.

 

No argument from me, good points. My point, for my first reply (not the one you quoted), was that to get to the 'Ph.d. candidate at Harvard' stage is still worthy.
