Oh, how the tables have turned!!!

Arthur B. Laffer, Wall Street Journal: Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid voted against raising the debt ceiling in 2006 when George W. Bush was president and the Republicans controlled the House and Senate.
Here's what Obama said on the Senate floor then: "The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. America deserves better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America's debt limit."
Harry Reid gave a similar speech: "Democrats won't be making arguments to support this legislation, which will weaken our country."
    Now the roles are reversed!!!!!!!!!

Gee, let's see now. As President, Obama wants to raise the debt ceiling for the third time, but yet as an Illinois Senator in 2006 he called any prospective raising of the debt ceiling "failed leadership"!!!! So if Bush was a failure for wanting to have the debt ceiling raised, what does that make Obama for raising it again, and again, and again??? The nuclear explosion of all "failed leadership", fuck up presidents!!! :D

  2. There are probably more instances of liberal hypocrisy than $ in the national debt.

Big ears Barry did promise "Change" during his campaign.

I didn't realize he meant changing the debt ceiling.
