Democrats really have just one agenda: Get Whitey's Money, NOW!! They have to spread the wealth around, it's about the votes.. especially the Black Votes that they have sewn up to the tune of 95%.. elections are very close quite often, if that 95% figure fell to 85% it could make a difference maybe so they have to keep those voters happy AT ALL COSTS [what do they care about the costs, it's not their own money]

  2. Oh, now come on. I see many good arguments, from both sides. But 'get whitey's money' - another 'really?' Really?

Just more fear mongering from those who are fighting a ghost, a caricature of Obama. He hasn't taken your guns, he's an American citizen, he didn't steal some dead guys SS number, he's not a Muslim. He's not a socialist.

And, he's by far not perfect, but will likely have 4 more years to make things better. He has dropped the ball on several things that I wish he would have done better. But, as I've said many times, unless the right gets someone else, Obama is here for 4 more years.

add: The rep's have one agenda, to unseat a legally elected President. Nice platform. Really?

Yeah, really. You don't think they want the black's money or the hispanics money do you?

Anglo saxons settled this country and thus have most of the wealth. Obama and the democrats want to spread that around to those who don't deserve it and never worked for it.

  4. King George had most of the money in England back in the day, right? Did he deserve it as well? He just took it from the people. The people got pissed off, left the Country, came here and took land and money from the locals. Not a perfect analogy, but I know you get my drift.

The really funny part is that I bet 90+% of the 'righties' on this site are being saved money by Obama. Any negatives only hit those of us who make above $250K, mostly over $1mil or so. The brainwashing of the very people Obama is helping has always made me smile.

So, you think we came here and established ourselves as Kings. LOL Your comparison is laughable.

It was the building of America that produced the wealth.

You pretend to want someone other than Obama as president but at every turn you show your true colors as the liberal you are. Why don't you quit trying to be so deceitful?

  6. As I said, not a great comparison, but I still think you get my point. We came, we conquered, we took. By 'we' I mean the white majority while using slaves and to be honest, questionable business and employment practices. Ala the railroads, banks, farming and all that.

I think Obama will win, but not a great choice is all I keep saying. There simply is no one else at this point.

And I still cringe at all the basic hatred, most of it aimed at the false Obama, the caricature, as I keep saying. He hasn't done any of the bad things he was feared to do. And, yes, fear is the word. Check the other thread about fear of doing business even though the economy is better. And we have $trillions due to the stock market doubling in the few years.

We still have our guns, and the gun shops ended up making $zillions due to irrational fears of not having access to ammo and all the rest.

He's an American, he's not a Muslim, he's not a socialist. He's the elected President of our Country.

Again, he has let many Americans down. He will hopefully do a better job in his second 4 years.

I understand that the R's are very concerned because they don't have much to run with at this point. No Reagan, no one even close, but to simply hate is just not the America I grew up in.

There is a lot more hate on the left than on the right and you know it. The examples are everywhere. Obama is treated like saint by the right compared to the treatment Bush received from the left. So, don't go playing this make believe hate card that you have been on lately. You know you have it ass backwards.

Somehow you have a problem understanding that the wealth in America was built not taken from the Indians. You can pound you ridiculous King analogy until you are blue in the face and it will be 100% inaccurate.

The fact about the Republican field is that any of them would be a much better president than Obama. You can try to denigrate the field but the facts are clear that Obama is one of if not the worse president in our nation's history.

Once the nominating process is over you will see the consolidation and the strength the Republican candidate will have over Obama. And, that is regardless of the sky rocketing gas prices and the economic decline that will bring just in time for the election.

So, don't think Obama has a lock. In reality, he hardly has a chance to see a second term.

  8. Well, we can certainly agree to disagree on this. We'll see. You can certainly gloat if I'm wrong, feel free. I've been wrong before. As I said, I didn't vote for Clinton nor Bush, so not a great voting record, lol.

So, you are saying you are going to vote for Obama if any of the 4 GOP current candidates are the GOP nominee?

For the record, I didn't vote for Clinton, twice. I did vote for Bush I and Bush II, twice and Reagan, twice. Not for Carter nor Obama. So, I guess that is 5 and 4 but to be honest I wasn't trying to pick the winner but make the winner.

  10. I guess I have to say 'yes' - maybe I would vote for RP, no Santorum for sure. Gingrich, well, even though I kind of like his bravado, couldn't vote for him. Romney is likely the guy, and I have to say, it is possible I would vote for him. I would have to see a lot more from him in the next few months.
