He has been told many times what to do. His liberal skull is too thick to understand just how wrong his policies are.

Some solutions are pretty simple. They're only "hard" because the politicians don't have the back bone to implement them.
Would he even listen if anybody did tell him?

He tries to grow the Government out of bounds and dominate the American economy...

He tried to use money we don't have to buy his way out of a severe recession and failed miserably... but he's back at it and our debt is exploding...

He introduced major uncertainly in a situation where certainty (eg, what's my taxes/budget going to be next year) is a must for businesses, who in turn stopped hiring until the dust settles...

He systematically robs Peter to pay Paul from a purely partisan/socialist perspective, strengthening his friends (eg, unions, illegals) at the expense of all of us...

He projects incompetence and weakness is everything he does other than reading his teleprompter -- eg, in governing fairly (the shameful conduct of the Justice Dept), the Gulf oil spill, our foreign policy, etc etc...

Oh well, just two more years... :(

  4. Why do you continue with this line of bullshit? Myself and others have contributed numerous "could have, would have" solutions to what occured in 2008, yet you continue to act as if no-strings attached bailouts, monetization and crony capitalism is the ONLY solution to any of the economies woes.

    here is one.

eliminate income taxes and erect tariffs to protect targeted industries which might employ many people.

Finally pay for a national single payer health care supplemental system with a small national says tax. This will free up the car industry.

    Tariffs will replace income tax.
Massive job growth will happen because of the true stimulus.
people will be able to afford their mortgages so property values might even go up... thereby bailing out the banks.

Important industries which employ people could be brought back home or improved.

And we could take health care away from employers creating so many jobs we will want mexicans here again.

We then come back we can charge mexicans for work permits and we use that money to build a good border fence... thereby increasing homeland security.

But doing that we can eliminate hundreds of thousands of overpaid govt workers and have them return to private industry where they belong.

I have a few other suggestions which would work... but they are anathema to most leftists.

Tariffs are to blatant and will only force a tariff war. Especially when so much of the profits from corporations are from overseas.

Look at two of the successful segments of the world market. Number one and two, American Farming and Chinese manufacturing.

Both get direct subsidies from their Governments. Both fight against tariffs. Both can sell below cost to gain market share. Direct subsidies are well hidden compared to tariffs.

I would remove all taxes on domestic manufacturing.

  8. The U.S. voters made it crystal clear last November that his policies were wrong, and the dummy still didn't listen.

when we were the worlds leading exporter we were rightly against tariffs.

but as a huge importer who cares if other countries put up tariffs if we are putting people back to work in our country.

obviously its a matter of degree, but I would prefer to see how jobs back home. Although I realize this could be tricky.

And I detest subsidizing our agricultural exporters as they are just draining our water supplies and sucking out our tax dollars.

If I were President at this point I would have to consider import tariffs on chinese goods. The chinese would howl and probably start a trade war. Still, its time to at least consider tariffs.

When there are no toasters or televisions manufactured in the USA something must be done.
