The OP raised an issue that should concern moderate voters. Obama has overcome many obstacles in his life and is rightly admired for that. At the same time, his early background combined with his "career" of radical community activism and his abysmal record of associating with bigots, hatemongers, terrorists and gangsters raise legitimate questions about who he is. The media have done their best to portray him as a sensible moderate, but there is nothng in his record to substantiate that. To the contrary, he has never strayed from the orthodoxy of the far left, no matter what the issue.
