A new CNN poll shows the majority of likely voters see Obama as a one term president. The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Tuesday, shows 51 percent of registered voters, and the same percentage of adult Americans, believe Obama will lose if he runs for re-election. 46 percent say he would win. http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2011/02/americans-think.php
Plenty of things can happen in 2 years. The best years of Clinton were with a Republican Congress. The worst years of Bush were with a Democrat Congress. If the SPX can be used as an indicator, the best years of Obama will likely be with the Republican Congress. Obama may just get re-elected.
Very true. It comes down to basically one thing: how's the economy doing? I think the economy is looking brighter for the foreseeable future. I'm betting on his reelection.
Here is a good article from the Huff that lays out a few other factors http://www.huffingtonpost.com/sheldon-filger/will-barack-obama-be-a-on_b_794616.html
Obama's A One Term President I sure "Hope" we get some real "Change" in the White House, but not betting on it.
This article says that Sarah Palin might be a formidable opponent in 2012. I can't imagine that being the case.
Palin is a lot smarter than the left gives her credit for but they have effectively polarized her. She probably would not be the best candidate to run against Obama.
