Ohio Voter Fraud Might be Stopped

Friday 10 October 2008, by admin

A federal judge has ordered the Democrat Secretary of State to abide by the law . What a concept.

The law says ALL voter registrations must be checked. She refused. he ordered. Now will she allow the over 573,000 "unknown" voter registrants to vote? Or will they be put back in the fraud file where they belong?

Be assured that the Democrats will claim not allowing the Dallas Cowboys, all of them from voting in Nevada, or dead and non existent people from voting in Ohio as voter suppression and intimidation. Darn right, the dead should be intimidated from the polling booth.

Now, we need other lawsuits in every State to get rid of the ACORN/Obama led voter fraud. Honest elections make a democracy, regardless of the outcome. Fraud gives us a totalitarian State. Looks like Obama is acting like his friend Ayers—by any means necessary—to win.

An honest election is all we ask for.

Ohio secretary of state must verify registrations

By TERRY KINNEY, Associated Press, 10/09/08

A Federal judge on Thursday ordered Ohio’s top elections official to verify the identity of newly registered voters by matching them with other government documents.

U.S. District Judge George C. Smith in Columbus ruled that Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner must perform verification required by the Help America Vote Act. That includes matching new registrants’ information against information in databases maintained by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles or the Social Security Administration.

The order was the result of a lawsuit the Ohio Republican Party filed against Brunner, a Democrat.

"Plaintiffs assert, and the court agrees, that it is hard to imagine a public interest more compelling than safeguarding the legitimacy of the election of the president of the United States," Smith wrote in his ruling.

Brunner also was ordered to establish a process by which Ohio’s 88 county election boards can access information generated by the checks.

Residents registering to vote must provide their name, address, date of birth and either their driver’s license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number.

Brunner has said the state matches registration information against data in the Bureau of Motor Vehicles system and the Social Security database. But she also has said federal law doesn’t say what should be done if a mismatch is discovered, and it is up to counties to check the system for flagged registrations and investigate if warranted.

An after-hours call seeking Brunner’s comment on the ruling was not immediately returned Thursday.

Republicans, who have been at odds frequently with Brunner, hailed the ruling.

"For some reason, Jennifer Brunner does not want these new registrations checked," said Ohio Republican Party Deputy Chairman Kevin DeWine. "Her refusal to comply with federal law raises serious concerns about her ability to objectively oversee this election."

Separately Thursday, the sheriff in Greene County in southwest Ohio requested registration cards and address change forms for all 302 people who registered to vote and cast ballots during the state’s weeklong same-day voting window, which ended Monday.

Sheriff Gene Fischer, a Republican, told elections officials he had been flooded with telephone calls from people concerned about possible fraud.

Greene County is home to five colleges or universities — Wright State, Central State, Wilberforce and Cedarville universities and Antioch College. Most of its students lean Democratic.

County Prosecutor Stephen Haller, who is representing Fischer, said the records request was not politically motivated. Haller is a former law partner of Mike DeWine, a former U.S. senator and chairman of the Ohio campaign of Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

McCain’s rival, Democrat Barack Obama, launched a major push to attract new voters during the window, which was the subject of an unsuccessful challenge by the Ohio Republican Party.

Lyn McCoy, the county’s deputy elections director, said the records request was being processed. Names, telephone numbers and Social Security numbers will be blackened out before the documents are release, she said.

  2. we're waiting.

refrain from cutting and pasting your god damned half witted commentary.

name one fucking state where a ballot can not be contested.

Shouldn't be difficult with all that fucking information you pick up at the library these days.

Hey pisser here's more cut and past

Late in the day – in a victory for Republicans – the full Cincinnati-based 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a decision made last week by three of its members. The result: Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner must create computer programs to cross check all new voter registrations so that county boards of elections can doublecheck new registrants.

The Secretary of State will now have to verify new registrations by comparing information on them with data from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles or the Social Security Administration.

“As far as we can tell, the problem with the current system (of cross-checking) is not that it is insufficiently user-friendly, but that it is effectively useless,” wrote Judge Jeffrey Sutton, writing for the majority.

The court split 9-6 along mostly partisan lines. The only appeal would be to the U.S. Supreme Court, and it wasn’t clear Tuesday night if that would happen.

Breaking News: Ohio Vote Fraud Alert
    Posted by Lorie Byrd
    Published: October 10, 2008 - 2:06 AM

I saw a report on Greta Van Susteren's show tonight with Bill Sammon on the court ruling regarding the actions of the Ohio Secretary of State. Sammon described a nightmare scenario where all the problems caused by Secretary of State Brunner's refusal to follow the law could result in an inability to correctly identify valid voter in time for the election. Michelle Malkin has posted the specifics of the ruling and reaction.

Remember what I wrote last month?

    "Watch Ohio."

Well, there's news breaking tonight -- and it's good news for election integrity. A federal district court judge has found Democrat Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner guilty of violating federal election laws. The ruling goes to the heart of the ACORN-centered voter fraud epidemic spreading across the country. This is the second judgment against Brunner.

Here is an excerpt from the Ohio GOP press release:

(Columbus) - A federal court ruled tonight that Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner violated federal election laws by not taking adequate steps to validate the identity of newly registered voters.

The ruling from U.S. District Court Judge George C. Smith called the identification breakdown "a serious problem" and ordered Brunner to immediately comply with federal requirements to match voter registration data with the information in the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Social Security Administration databases. The court accused Brunner of failing to provide county election administrators with "an effective way to access and review mismatches." She immediately appealed the ruling.

"For some reason, Jennifer Brunner does not want these new registrations checked," said Ohio Republican Party Deputy Chairman Kevin DeWine. "Her refusal to comply with federal law raises serious concerns about her ability to objectively oversee this election. It's especially troubling in light of her connection to ACORN and that group's stunning confession this week of fraudulent registration activity happening right here in Ohio."

Brunner's effort to fight the court order comes just two days after the Democrat activist group ACORN admitted to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections that the group engages in fraudulent voter registration activity.

Ohio ACORN officials "blamed the elections board for not scrutinizing ACORN's suspicious cards," claiming the group "can't be expected to catch everything."

ACORN is facing similar inquires in other Ohio counties as well as 10 other states. Members of the group's "voter-mobilization arm," Project Vote, regularly advise Brunner on election strategy, even recently issuing a news release that claims credit for Brunner's directive restricting challenges to suspected fraudulent voter registrations. Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama also has strong ties to ACORN, working previously as an attorney and "leadership trainer" for the group.

They are pulling out all the stops. John McCain has the deck stacked against him big time. The media. Election officials. Fraudulent community workers. They are taking no chances on this one. The Obama campaign will make sure he has all the votes he needs no matter what it takes to get them.

This Ohio situation is just one of many. There are big problems in Missouri with multiple and false registration forms submitted by ACORN pouring into the election board. There are big problems in Nevada and other states as well. The Dallas Cowboys starting lineup is registered fraudulently in Nevada. Indianapolis has 105 percent of its eligible voters registered to vote.

Yes you can challenge, but only if you suspect fraud. You supposed to go by "feelings"?

    Hey Pisser.

Brunner also said that 13,141 of Ohio's 8.2 million registered voters took advantage of same-day voting this month by registering and voting the same day. She instructed county Boards of Elections to segregate those ballots and verify registrations before they can be counted with other votes on Nov. 4.

How about that. Does the right thing after being directed by the court, but not before. It has to be done before the mandatory opening of the absentee ballots and the attendant separation of the name and the ballot.

I never realized that the black guy was the only one who would sell out his integrity and that no hockey mom, especially a white one, would ever consider such a thing.

The one good point you do have is about Dems complaining about stolen elections. It is a party with a long history of election fraud, from Tammany Hall, the Chicago Machine, right up to Acorn today...and even Obama's first term as a state senator was accomplished only by throwing out voters who had signed the petition for his opponant.

  10. Who is getting something in return? The soccer mom wants McCain to win but nothing tangible comes to her out of it. If I was working for the City of Chicago then it's VERY important to my way of life if Obama wins. In Chicago job promotions are predicated upon your work as a precinct captain. When people talk about Obama being a product of Chicago's corrupt political machine wtf do you think they're talking about, Christmas cookies? It's NOT racial. A generation ago the Dem's stealing would be white. Not too many whites left though these days in America's big cities. The irony? It was the urban policies of the Dems in the 60's and 70's that ultimately moved those old school white Dem's to the suburbs......
