The last thing I want is Great Britain's welfare/police state. But promising people social security and then not funding it is gross immorality, typical of what I expect from politicians. If people saw the full cost of their entitlements and wars in their taxes they'd be a lot less eager for both.

  3. I like how people rage on Nobama, but conveniently forgetting past ridiculous actions of the Repubs. 75%+ of the national debt was caused by repub policies, only 25% or less was caused by dems. Reps have given money to rich folks called trickle down. It did not spur consumer spending, it spurred a housing bubble. Now Nobama wants to give money to freeloaders as research shows money to poor people stimulate consumer spending, unlike giving money to employers. Taking the whole situation in account, the only reason to hate on Nobama is because he is proposing a keynesian solution. Well what is worse than that? Like doing what repubs did, proposing and executing keynesian solution that didn't work. If you hate on Nobama, logic dictates you should hate more on repubs. If you don't, you are what we call an idiological hypocrite. Kinda like the Taliban. Maybe you hate black people unconsiously?:p

  5. A $300 Billion fiscal stimulus without proper targeting will end up in China in 2 - 3 years. Then the Chinese will try to lend it back to the US. This is a vicious circle. This is the problem to be solved.
