You could well be right about the uselessness, but "gun haters" is cynical. Twenty little kids were gunned down. That fact is not going away, will not be brushed aside by, "don't be emotional". National polling is showing overwhelming support from both libs and reps for something to be done.
I know this sounds cold, but I don't care about who dies around the world as much as I do when American children die here at home.
Your emotional and irrelevant appeal holds zero weight with me as a matter of fact it makes me coldly rational about it. The kids are dead, get over it. No amount of stupid feel good legislation is going to bring them back.
