  2. You are exactly right, the only logical conclusion that can be reached is control. the dems could have passed whatever they wanted, the repubs attempted to push tort reform and interstate trade, but obummer wouldn't have it.

  3. I can't disagree more, I listed approaches that could have been taken. obamacare inherently weakens the economy and it opens the door to probably unimaginable possibilities for Congress.

This is an abortion of freedom.. but it isn't new. have you ever wondered why (i'm sure most have) YOU can't gamble with your own money? Why you can't take the bets of others for a vig? Why you can't do drugs if u so choose? While you can play state lotteries or any number of countless scratch tickets at a gas station, or be drafted for a war, or pay taxes? It is your money, that you earned, and your body, how can anyone tell you what to do with what is YOURS.

Do guys like you see this hypocrisy? Man is a free being, it is his natural state, if I have any belief in anything, it is in the natural laws: life, liberty, property. These things matter more than anything to me and I am tired of seeing them shit on be the (wannabe) almighty govt.

  6. So you are ineptly admitting it's going to add to the deficit.

    Good one .

  7. It is un-American.
If you drive on a your own private roads you don't need a license nor insurance.
When you apply for a permit (DL) you agree to some certain terms and restrictions.

It's not unlike the ubiquitous voluntary giving up your right to unreasonable search and seizure (random drug testing ) in order to get a job.

  8. Oh btw , I just gave notice to my employer that I will not be working full time next year.

Honestly I don't like where healthcare and gubbermint impact on my profession have been heading. The more govt gets involved the worse it's been.

I seriously doubt obamacare is going to significantly raise either the quality of care or renumeration for services delivered so I'm heading out the door.

You folks would be amazed at the bean counting done to satisfy the gubbermint.

Unfortunately the people going around making everybody's #1 priority become bean counting forgets . Counting beans doesn't directly help actually growing and caring for the beans.

Now if I could form a public union and rape the taxpayer (as retribution for gubbermint BS) I might reconsider.

yes I am legally prohibited from forming a union, consortium etc etc to set my prices.

    Go figure

PS: thanks suckers for not making my healthcare an issue dependent upon employment.

  9. 377OHMS

    377OHMS

I'm disappointed with the outcome but you *did* call it.

Guys on my side of the spectrum feel as though it represents a loss of freedom and individual liberty.

  10. I don't, for the following reasons. If you have existing insurance, as I do, then nothing changes. If you don't have health care, then you have to pay something via the IRS. That seems to be a good, conservative thing to do, have those who may have to use health care, pay for it like we do. Why is that wrong?

I will admit that I would prefer a single payer type of thing, but this seems better than having our taxes pay for all of it, for those who don't pay.
