GO to the emergency room and tell them you don't have insurance and see what happens. You think they'll turn you away?
You never have a clue how things work do you? Health insurance premiums, like all insurance, relies on stats that they won't ever have to pay out more than they take in.. it is a genius idea. It won't fucking work, or be less effective if they have to incorporate the chronic/terminally ill. That means premiums will have to rise, or they won't make money. If they could make money off insuring the sick, at these rates, WHY WOULDN'T THEY?
you aint to bright are you? thats why the government was forced to step in. the insurance companies only wanted healthy people and could maximize profits by finding ways to exclude people that could cost them money in the future.
That's not the point. You said they don't have health care. I said they simply don't have health insurance, but do in fact still have health care. I just wish people would quit saying that 50MM people don't have health care. Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, 50MM people have health care at no personal cost to them.
Truck driver, it is u who isn't too bright. That is why we have medicaid/medicare. healthcare insurance only exists because of the providers, you don't think they know how determine what is optimal? Now we have a system where they are either going to raise premiums on everyone, or the TAXPAYER is going to have to foot the difference.. and that is exactly what's gonna happen. Taxpayer's are going to be paying more money to support the uninsured, who can't afford it, in addition to medicare/medicaid. Again, what the fuck is the point of obamacare?
The emergency room is not healthcare. The ER only has to stabilize you.If you dont have insurance they will run minimal test to assure you are not dieing and kick you out.
