Moving forward, are there any non-socialists out there who might need exchanges, say someone with laissez faire economics views, but also having a pre-existing health condition which no individual insurer will cover because their risk pool is too small?

So will going through an exchange be the exclusive method to get health insurance? Clearly the govenrment will wield vast power over insurance companies by virtue of being able to deny them access to these exchanges or declare their policies nonconforming. I'm sure we can trust obama and his chicago-thugs to use that power wisely. After all, we trust the IRS with vast pwers too, and they've shown how they handle it.
I just wish I could postpone buying and paying premiums on my auto home and life insurance until I actually need them. Think of the savings.

Maybe we will get Obamacare for homeowners. Guaranteed acceptance no matter how recently the hurricane destroyed your home. I think the trick will be to sign up by phone a day or so before a hurricane is supposed to hit. If it does, you are covered. If it misses you just cancel the policy in a day or so. 30 day refusal and all that on insurance.
