According to a report, Obamacare will likely cause upwards of 50 million people to lose the health insurance they already had. Whatâs worse, the president knew ahead of time and chose to keep lying about it. From McClatchy DC: Even as President Barack Obama sold a new health care law in part by assuring Americans they would be able to keep their insurance plans, his administration knew that tens of millions of people actually could lose those their policies. âIf you like your private health insurance plan, you can keep your plan. Period,â Obama said as he pitched the plan, the unqualified promise he made repeatedly. Yet advisers did say in 2010 that there were large caveats and that anyone whose insurance plan changed would lose the promised protection of being able to keep existing plans. And a report in 2010 said that as many as 69 percent of certain employer-based insurance plans would lose that protection, meaning as many as 41 million people could lose their plans even if they wanted to keep them and would be forced into other plans. Another 11 million who bought their own insurance also could lose their plans. Combined, as many as 52 million Americans could lose or have lost old insurance plans. Some or much of that loss of favored insurance is driven by normal year-to-year changes such as employers changing plans to save money. And many people could end up with better plans. But it is not what the president pledged...
Yet another roadblock from the âmost transparent administration in history!â Earlier, we reported that the Obama administration has pushed out a CMS official who refused to sign off on the Obamacare website because of its obvious security holes. Now, the Obama administration is stonewalling the House Oversight Committee from investigating the siteâs security infrastructure by refusing to allow the tech chief in charge of repairing the site to testify. Golly Gee Wilikers, what could the âmost transparent administration in history!â have to hide? AGAIN.
Obamacare Sticker Shock: 5 States Where Costs Could Double http://www.fool.com/retirement/gene...sticker-stock-5-states-where-costs-could.aspx
My God, it never ends with this load of crap. So we blow up the entire system to fix one of the problems? It would have been infinitely cheaper and less disruptive to simply focus on this one segment of the market. Now, we've created a system that was already unaffordable for many and made it that much worse. In almost every single one of your posts that focusses on monthly premiums, I have yet to see you mention the deductables. This is the same tactic used by every liberal to try and "pitch" this horrendous program.
Wait until it hits businesses where 90% of the coverage is now. Co-pays will skyrocket. Businesses will take huge increases in health cost just to subsidize this program. They will find out that companies are people too. And the people will revolt against this.
You didn't read my posts sir. I quoted monthly prices and deductibles from the blueshelid and blue cross ACA website. You might want to back off on your partisian talking points. You can go to the websites yourself to see exactly what premiums and deductibles are but then you wouldn't have to depend on anecdotal stories without any details.
