The hundreds of millions of dollars spent to build a broken web site, the millions of happy insurance customers dropped from their plans, and the skyrocketing insurance rates are all nothing more than the tip of the iceberg of the complete disaster that is Obamacare. Whatâs next on the list, you ask? A massive doctor shortage. From CBS New York: A doctor shortage is threatening to make the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act even more difficult â and it could create lines for care and services. â¦âItâs like shopping during Christmas time. I mean, youâre going to have a tough time if you have all of these people demanding services at the same time,â said Dr. Steven Lamm of the NYU School of Medicine. Lamm said the Affordable Care Act could mean an explosion of demand for doctors and services, but will the system be able to handle it? âI think the concern would be that the system will be overwhelmed, that there will be a greater demand that we can meet in a quality fashion and that we will have to delay services for a lot of individuals,â Lamm said. â¦âDoctors are planning to retire. Anybody who is anywhere near retirement age is talking about retirement. ⦠Thereâs just too much going on,â said Dr. Sam Unterricht of the New York State Medical Society. Others fear that centralizing medical care will squeeze out small independent doctor groups, groups that insurers claim are more expensive, in favor of large centralized care. âIt will be inferior care. They will end up going to clinics, to situations where they donât have their own private physician. When they go to hospitals they are not going to know any of doctors who are taking care of them,â cardiologist Dr. David Hess said.
Anybody who is anywhere near retirement age is talking about retirement This also goes for firemen, teachers, plumbers, accountants, military ... etc. The problem with the fight against Obama and the health care act is that there are no option or improvements offered by the opposition. It seems that like most things anti Obama all that is offered is opposition. Time to change tactics and work together. My way or the highway doesn't work and will not work.
Pittsburgh woman finds incredible deal with Affordable Care Act While most of the country haggles and laments over the busted government website for health care, Gail Roach simply picked up the phone and asked a specialist to walk her through her options. Roach, 57, said she found plenty, and suddenly she realized she would have the opportunity to walk away from her retirement health care package that required her to pay $509 a month for her premium. Roach has Type 2 diabetes, which drove up her costs. However, through the Affordable Care Act, she found a policy offering a monthly premium at only $70. After cashing in on a tax credit and taking advantage of a feature called the Cost Sharing Benefit, Roach saw her premium drop to a measly $1.11 a month. "I couldn't believe it. I just couldn't believe it. But it was within my budget," Roach said. Now she's telling everyone who'll listen that they must exercise patience while the administration straightens out problems with the website. "I'm telling people they need to look into it. They need to be patient about it," said Roach. "Go to the website. If you can't get on, call the number on the website and just be very patient because it's very much worth it." ------------------ ------------------ Don't click on the link to the video if you're a republican. She is one of "those people." Where the heck are the swiftboaters to tell everyone she's lying?

Her low rate is due to the government subsidy. Her rate without the subsidy is similar to the $509 she was paying earlier. The individuals most likely to have a total lower rate will be lower income older (50+) females with pre-existing medical conditions. The individuals most like to have higher rates under ACA are young males (<30) with high incomes and no pre-existing conditions. This woman's story is not surprising but note that it takes a lot of work on part of the press to find this type of story among the 1000s of stories about increased rates endured by most people.
Thankfully Comrade Obama has it all cleared up. When I said PERIOD, what I meant was, if your health care plan is consistent with the terms on page 1,666, paragraph 4, sub-paragraph 1A, line 12 of the Affordable Care Act, you can keep it. This is contingent upon the secretary deeming your policy acceptable, who has the right to take action against any such non acceptable policy in accordance with article 99 and subsequent updates which will change daily. Now, I've been very clear about this from the beginning and Jay Carney can give you more details.
First of all, you're welcome Ms Roach. Someone else is being made to pick up the tab for your premiums. However, unless our oppressive government decides to take more money from others, you're stuck with the high deductible. I know this is a burden, and hopefully your messiah will come to the rescue and fuck over more people to save you from ever having to pay anything, but for now it's on you.
The only thing shocking about this story is that 1) It leaves out the part where the rest of us are paying for her dirty cheap rate 2) It took the MSM a month to finally find someone who isn't getting ass raped by Obamacare.
