Had the Republicans enough sense to nominate Ron Paul the public would have had a real choice: Nobel Peace Prize winning war monger vs. actual peace. Massive deficits vs. a serious attempt at balancing the budget. The Patriot Act, NDAA, and TSA vs. a restoration of the Bill of Rights. The Nanny State vs. freedom and responsibility. The Evil white hating RACIST vs. the Evil black hating RACIST [*] I'm not sure which column dumbed down Americans would choose but at least they'd have a choice.
