Obamacare in deep deep trouble

Discussion in 'Politics' started by 377OHMS, Mar 27, 2012.

  1. The mandate is likely finished, it was/is obvious to anyone that has ever read the Constitution that this was beyond the limits on Congress. It is a great document, perhaps the most important document ever written, at this point in time. If the checks and balances work like they are supposed to, the mandate is out.

The rest of the 'plan' should follow, along with the worst President in US history.. and then we can have a move for real, practical reform, as opposed to the attempted power grab that this abortion was. Nationalization of private industries (the purpose of this bill, and its obvious successor - the single payer plan) is socialism.. this is not an opinion.

And yeah I am going to rub it in a little, because this came up two+ years ago and all of the resident 'liberals' told me and others that we had no clue blah blah and this would never make it to Supreme Court.. lol.

Obama is a fucking socialist or worse (fact), and he has already done enough damage to our nation. Thankfully if the SC does the right thing we will have dodged the most massively destructive of his policies. If you vote for this loser again you will truly deserve what you get. Unfortunately the rest of us will have to suffer as well because of your inexcusably poor choice.

I didn't know you could get a law degree online. Unaccredited though, can you use that for anything? Will they let you take the Bar Exam with an unaccredited degree?

It makes you wonder if her PhD is phony as well.

The constitution is amazing and the system seems to be trying to work but another poster raised the question, What if Obama simply ignores the SCOTUS ruling?

  4. he won't.. his usually loud, arrogant mouth is silent. Of course he will eventually say something to try and save face but if he were to basically tell them to fuck off he knows he is finished. His ego won't let that happen.

It seems the final penalty in the bill was just monetary and carries no term of imprisonment whether the fine is paid or not.. so what could he really do anyway?

377 This info is about 20 years old... from when I worked with a D.A.
A lot of law enforcement types went to the unaccredited law schools part time. great way to keep those govt benes and not get shot at.

They had to pass a baby bar after one year of school and the real bar exam. If they did they got a provisional 5 years license. But after those 5 years... they got full fledged bar licenses.
I do not know if it still works that way.

I used to be very much against unaccredited schools... but the bar exam does a good job picking off those who are not that smart. The ones who not that smart but really want it, study and study and finally pass.

There are some dummies who are lawyers... but not many in CA. That does not mean I endorse all lawyers... but I will say the weed out process is pretty effective.

    note...
Taitz seems to be following a max publicity vs max chance at victory strategy. AK may be right about that.

intrade trades on such a small amount of money... does it really mean anything. I looked at the ask depth... you had to go many levels to get 50 - 5 dollar contracts. Its seems to be pretty easy to rig for the publicity.

  8. You can take the bar with it,those online schools have some of the best lobbyists in the country

Not many reputable firms will hire a lawyer with an online degree, most use it to work for themselves. A lot of online degree attorneys use it for personal injury type lawsuits working from a shit hole strip mall office.Orly Tatz uses hers to take money from gullible birthers who think she will one day win a birther case

  9. I predict in 20 yrs the birthers will be vindicated in the eyes of all who didn't vote for him.

Those who did vote for obama can still argue the moon landings were fake.
