Please sir...quote me and show the world how I am a big government spender.

I shall patiently wait for your well researched quote. :)

Also, I clearly pointed out my #1 issue is with corporate/foreign interests in American politics. Kapeesh??

You were arguing against austerity. You were arguing for Keynesian economics. You were arguing against Milton Friedman. You were arguing for Obamacare. Come on dude, the ruse is up. There are plenty of proud liberals on this forum. Don't be ashamed. The first step in the recovery process is admitting what you are and being proud of it. You don't need to hide anymore. Ricter will lend you his shoulder to cry on. Because that's the kind of guy he is.

    Alright listen up Nancy...

I never claimed to be a Keynesian...I only challenged the Friedman views. Especially during a downturn and the idea that austerity would turn things around and lead to prosperity.

And yes, one of the roles of government is to provide everyone healthcare. But, I am against corporate subsidies and out of control defense spending. (So don't give me this small government bullshit till you take your Republicans to task on these points).

And you Reps are patriots and such right!? So where was your outrage during Citizens United v. FEC when the Supreme Court's 5 conservative justices allowed foreign corporations unlimited campaign contributions in our elections?

What next kids? This is too easy. :)

You cannot tell me with a straight face that you are not a big government liberal and support universal health care, which will end up being the largest entitlement program in the history of this country. You cannot do that with a straight face. Liberals always argue the "victim angle" as to why we need government to solve all our problems including health-care. No where in the constitution does it say Americans are entitled to free health care.

Are you even reading what you post? Seriously man? Go back and read your posts again. The entire premise of Keynesian policies is that the government will spend us out of economic downturns. We don't need Keynesian policies during the good times, they only get pushed during the bad.

Nice job naming those democrats fighting hard to take the corporate interests out of Washington. LOL. You crack me up. You say that in the same breath as Obama raising the most money in history from banks and hedge funds. Honestly, you need to do a little more research before you come on this forum after a 2 year hiatus from posting.

    Haha...

...What do the Republicans have to show for the 8 years prior????

Just those items have done more for the little guy than your corporate minions.

Yeh I know, you tough guys...'let them fail', 'let the free market take it's course'. To you neanderthals freedom is 'survival of the fittest', well forget that nonsense. Join the rest of the developed world and learn that part of being civilized is to take care of the down-trodden. I am proud to pay taxes to take care of the wounded soldiers, I am proud to pay taxes to take care of the disabled. You guys are just selfish and want to justify your lack of compassion by making false economic arguments.

You can't win this one kids...there is nothing to support your claims. All you have on your side are loud bullies who line their pockets peddling bullshit.

For the love of all that is virtuous and..umm whatever...

Read my posts! I never proposed said spending by government is the best alternative during a downturn. Nor did I even say I have a better alternative. I just asked the question...if you are so sure about Freidman..then it must be based on some factual data? So, what is this data? What is this country that followed austerity and came out ahead!? Do not assume sir, only makes you look like a..well..you know.

By the way...take a wild guess at the states with the highest poverty rates? Yeh that's right...red states through and through.

Highest poverty rate...the great state of Mississippi!

Explain that please?? Republican state..no prosperity??

    Game, set and match son!

Oh wait...it is only one state you say??..Well, right on the heels of Mississippi, is the great state of Arkansas!!!!! Red again!!!

And the third highest...wait for it...wait for it...Kentucky!!!!!!

Waiting patiently for your well thought out response dear sir. :)
