Alright listen up Nancy... I never claimed to be a Keynesian...I only challenged the Friedman views. Especially during a downturn and the idea that austerity would turn things around and lead to prosperity. And yes, one of the roles of government is to provide everyone healthcare. But, I am against corporate subsidies and out of control defense spending. (So don't give me this small government bullshit till you take your Republicans to task on these points). And you Reps are patriots and such right!? So where was your outrage during Citizens United v. FEC when the Supreme Court's 5 conservative justices allowed foreign corporations unlimited campaign contributions in our elections? What next kids? This is too easy.
You cannot tell me with a straight face that you are not a big government liberal and support universal health care, which will end up being the largest entitlement program in the history of this country. You cannot do that with a straight face. Liberals always argue the "victim angle" as to why we need government to solve all our problems including health-care.
