  1. Obama: ‘We are not a deadbeat nation’

President Obama took aim at congressional Republicans on Monday as he argued that “to even entertain the idea” of failing to raise the federal borrowing limit is “irresponsible” and “absurd.”

Twice he said, “We are not a deadbeat nation.”

With a second debt-ceiling battle ramping up, Obama at his White House news conference used House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) words against him, contending that a failure to raise the debt ceiling would represent a “financial disaster not only for us but for the worldwide economy.”

If Obama were concerned with the 'people' he would go up to the roof of the White House and jump.
  3. Ditto!
  4. A LARGE portion of this fiscal mess is Odumbo's reckless expansion of government programs and deficit. He's basically running up HUGE EXPENDATURES... then looking towards the Republican House and chastising them for not allowing him to recklessly/destructively spend even more. WHAT AN ASS!!

  5. Actually, we are.

    1. We have no money.

    2. 40% of all we spend is borrowed

    3. We have no intention/ability to every repay our creditors.

If that's not "deadbeat", then what is it?

  6. Then pack up and move if you hate this country.
  7. Uh oh....I can hear it now.

    ON IGNORE...

    :D :D
