In your world you let the Government officials be the strong hands. The weak are there to perpetuate the power of the officials. In return the weak get subsistence support.

In your system the powerful permanent Government official can extract monies from all other citizens to help him maintain his power.

In the system you project on me at least to remain powerful you need to earn and use your own money.

  2. You should not think about it like that.

    Think about it like this:

A rising tide lifts all boats.

That's somewhat pollyannaish. During a rising tide, those without financial might and the underprivileged would get to catch some falling crumbs during the party. But during economic low tide they would be thrown off the boat outright. You either have social Darwinism and the rule of the jungle, figuratively speaking, or you have a social contract and a society. Barbarous or civilized.

  4. I prefer behavior that which is most adaptive for the individual be allowed to reign supreme. The social contract is every one must respect the property rights of the individual.

Of course that is accepting the fact that the meme of a collective appears to be quite popular and sounds wonderful in theory but it leads to famine and poverty.
