The reason we have the Constitutional right to bear arms is to protect ourselves from GOVERNMENT... For situations like NOW brewing. Government wants to use its authority to remove arms from the populace* to make it impossible for the citizenry to effectively oppose governmental power. *Or, in a sneaky way [and so that they can say, "we did not take your guns"]... ban the sale and private production of ammunition.... as is currently being considered.
