Obama Violated the Law with Prisoner Exchange

I've been watching this. I believe FIVE soldiers died looking for this POS deserter.

So we gave up five known high level terrorists for a deserter and have we've done nothing for a hero wrongly held in a Mexican prison.

So we traded some of the most dangerous terrorists we had locked up for a turncoat.

The schemers in the admin knew that the compliant media would spin it as some kind of heroic effort by obama. And they'd never mention anything that was wrong with the whole thing.

This 'heroic effort' makes up for the VA and Benghazi. They think.

According to first-hand accounts from soldiers in his platoon, Bergdahl, while on guard duty, shed his weapons and walked off the observation post with nothing more than a compass, a knife, water, a digital camera, and a diary.

Emails reported by the late Michael Hastings in Rolling Stone in 2012 reveal what Bergdahl's fellow infantrymen learned within days of his disappearance: he told people that he no longer supported the U.S. effort in Afghanistan.

"The future is too good to waste on lies," Bowe wrote to his parents. "And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be American. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting."

Bergdahl wrote to them, "I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting."

A former member of Bergdahl's squad who has yet to identify his last name publicly but goes by "Cody" tweeted this weekend that before he disappeared, Bergdahl once told him, "If deployment is lame, I'm going to get lost in the Mountains and make my way to China."

His Twitter account, @bobbergdahl, has apparently now deleted a tweet from four days ago, in which he said, in echoes of Islamic supremacist rhetoric, “@ABalkhi I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners. God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, ameen!”

 

Bowe Berghdal Wrote Before Capture: ‘I Am Ashamed to Be an American

U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Berghdal, recently released from years of Taliban captivity following the negotiation of a deal to swap him for the release of five Guantanamo Bay detainees, allegedly deserted his fellow soldiers just prior to being captured by Taliban fighters. Several of Berghdal’s fellow soldiers called him a “deserter,” and some even blame him for the deaths of the soldiers who attempted to mount a rescue mission.

New evidence is now emerging that calls into question whether Berghdal was a true prisoner of war. A report in The New York Post chronicles how Berghdal sought to join the French Foreign Legion before joining the U.S. Army, the murky details of his 2009 capture, and how he seemed particularly mistrustful of the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.

“I am sorry for everything here,” Berghdal reportedly wrote in an email to his parents just prior to his capture. “These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid.”

“I am ashamed to be an American. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools,” Berghdal concluded. “I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting.”

The five Taliban fighters who were released in exchange for Berghdal have been descried as some of the most dangerous detainees in U.S. custody in the Guantanamo Bay facility.

 

If Bergdahl deserted and six died trying to find him, the POS should be court-martialed and executed or at the very least imprisoned for life.
