Obama: UPS and FedEx are doing fine, it's the USPS that sucks

  1. I think good 'ol boy Billy T makes himself about 4million per year these days. It's no wonder why he never moved back to good old Louisiana.

  2. You guys are so used to being lied to that when someone tells the truth you ridicule it. FedEx and UPS are doing fine and that means that private companies can successfully compete with public companies. How do you get or send most of your mails? Stop pretending as if you have never used USPS and stop talking about free market principles only when it's convenient.

    FF to 45 secs.

The private insurers do everything they can to deny sick people coverage and treatment but they can afford to pay ceo's and lobbyist millions every year:mad:

  7. Everyone complains about how much these guys make and tries to blame the woes of healthcare on the CEO's of these companies and it's a joke.

I have an idea, why don't some of you liberal do gooders like soros, move on, huffington, and theresa heinz start a non profit healthcare company to compete with the for profits?

If any of these people believe the sh*t they shovel into you guys mouth's then they should have no problem with putting up their own money right?

  8. Post Office is not meant to be profitable. When it costs the same amount of money to send a letter from Jacksonville to Miami as it does from NY to LA you know it is not done for profit. US government subsidizes mail delivery and helps make the economy more efficient.

Postal service is sacred. Great many countries have postal systems that are not worth a damn and they suffer for it. Imagine if we waited for private enterprise to build us an interstate system...

There is a place for government to do great things. Infrastructure, education, postal service, national defense, CDC, FDA, etc.

  9. The health care industry is a trillion dollar + industry, the people you mentioned cant compete with that. The Government is having a hard time starting a non profit health care company to compete with the for profits so you know Soros and other private citizens have no chance
