OK, explain why it is relevant that many catholics used birth control at some point in their lives. That is a red herring. Show how it is relevant on a constitutional level. This is destroying the bill of rights, the separation of church and state and the right to worship as you choose. But, note even the logic is screwed up. A percent of Catholics probably homosexual sex. Does that mean the Church should offer counseling which approves of homosexual encounters. Every Catholic has sinned. Should we be telling the church to support all sorts of immoral ideas and patterns. When does the govt stop? When do democrats start upholding the constitution? It would be like forcing the IRS... to help employees cheat on their taxes. I am sure 99% of IRS employees have taken an aggressive deduction.
