It is. And that is why "getting a license" doesn't mean shit. And I'm not comparing aviation to nursing. I'm not 12 years old and I don't have "my job is better then your job" arguments on a message board with total strangers. I'm telling you that you know little to nothing of the aviation industry or what getting a license means in that industry. I'm not defending Lucrum here. I'm defending aviation!
You do not know where I work or what I do, nor what I have done. Yes, being an RN is far far more complex than flying an airborne taxi.
Compared to a decade or more to become an airline captain. And you think this makes nursing a job for exceptional people? Like I said you're comparing apples to oranges when talking about getting a PPL or any other basic ratings to actually climbing into the seat of a jet.
If it were that complex, a child could not fly a Cessna Cub, and it would not take 13 weeks for commercial licensure. It takes longer to be a GM certified mechanic than it does to fly a jet. Come on Mav, you should just let this go, you have no case.
You don't even need a GED and you get a license and the ability to do it in a matter of months.Get over yourself.Only your dumbass buddies are buying your bull shit
Ron, again, you keep harping on this license issue. Let me ask you a question. Would you fly a commercial airliner where all the pilots "just got a license"? Just answer me that one question. It's a new airline called Fast Jet and they are offering really low airfares. The only catch is all the pilots where hired as soon as they got their license irregardless of any other qualifications. Would you fly that airline?
So a doctor fresh out of med school is ready to perform brain surgery? You're in essence saying that's the same as a nurse graduating and sticking a thermometer up someones butt unsupervised the next day
