Umm, reallocating from discretionary programs to our safety net programs IS socialistic. And I might be ok with it, but the devil is in the details. For example, "get rid of the EPA". And then what, more Love Canals?

  3. Obama didn't make the market tank. Would you guys have given him any credit had the market gone up? Nuff said about that aspect of market conditions.
Market has tanked because of a really weak economy and a congress to busy campaigning to do it's job.

the only way out is to got back to the the original set up of this country.

    no income tax
fed lives off revenues from tariffs.
    then
    means test all federal benefits.
cut all federal outflows by 1 percent a year until there is room in budget.

You're absolutely right. Obama thinks this spending problem is behind him now. I think it will rank right after jobs and the economy in the discussion next summer.

  8. It sort of is. All Odumbo cares about is "spending now... to buy votes for the next election".

Future cuts? Consequences? BE DAMNED!! Somebody else's problem.

  9. Obama is worth $5 million only but American super-rich are worth $25 million to $55,000 million or $55 billion.

Why do super-rich people allow a $5 million person to dominate them?
