Might have been as he recently moved his business from New Mexico to a small town in Arizona called Pinetop. A very small, very conservative town, so his ad didn't really affect his local business and helped his mail-order business tremendously. Now if he were located in either of the two large liberal cities of Tucson or Phoenix and had posted the same ad that would have taken a bit more courage and probably cost him a fair amount of business.
Good possibility. My overall suspicion is that the gun sales "Obama surge" has probably run its course.
