It is pretty pathetic that not only does the public need to worry about the at large killer but they have to worry about the crazed police shooting them, too.
If a private armed citizen committed such an inexcusable act of stupidity with a firearm. The media would be demanding his head. The local prosecutor would no doubt oblige. The supposedly highly trained and qualified cops do it and they get a complete pass. And there are still those who think only cops should be armed.
