  1. Most Americans voted thinking their wallet will fatten with free money from the Gov.

    EXACTAMUNDO!

The single most important reason the USA has always had more of everything than the rest of the world is because we have always been THE MOST CAPITALISTIC COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.... Mostly capitalistic with some social social programs.

NObamanomics wants to shift that balance toward MORE SOCIALISM by promising "more heat for the masses".

But when the fruit trees have all been chopped down for heat, there will be no more fruit... and the cold misery will be equally spread across the land....

Bush has been a TERRIBLE president.. but NObama will almost certainly be much, MUCH WORSE for the country if his campaign promises are implemented to any significant degree..

  7. As I recall, you are a fan of Paul Volcker, and rightly so. Volcker is on Obama's advisory panel. He wholeheartedly endorsed Obama. If you admired Volcker up until now, then why do you summarily dismiss his judgment?

  8. Right on ammo! You Yankees stick to your polical parties like a religion! It's ignorant so stop it! ET members are supposed to be smarter than that.

I'm from Canada & we pay alot of tax here. We have growth here contrary to the brainwashed republicans . We have socialized medicine and happy for it. Now before you flame & go on a bender, I did not say every thing is perfect here. I wish I paid less taxes (I pay six figures), I wish our socialized medicine was better. All I am trying to say is, it won't hurt if you Yanks paid a little more tax to get yourselves out of the mess you are in. You are not going to die or kill your economy. You have a great country but you have got to stop sticking to you brainwashed political party beliefs just because your parents belonged to that party. (I know not all of your are like that but it sure seems that way from here)

Give the next government a chance & stop pretending your party's beliefs is the only one that knows whats best for the county.

I've respected Volker and thought GreenScam was a poor replacement. Rather than being optimistic about the Volker-NObama tandem, Volker's signing on makes me QUESTION him. (Hope I'm wrong about this, but I'll remain skeptical until there is reason to be otherwise.)

The path of Socialism is the path of mediocrity for most citizens. If all one wants to do is "live out one's days" and never bother with having the opportunity to accomplish much (as many countries have adopted historically) that's one thing.. but is has not been America. Capitalistic reward for risk and ingenuity have always been what America has been about. And along with Socialism, comes ever greater "Big Brother Gummint"... never a good thing.

So far, most of what I've seen of NObama makes me want to PUKE. (That's on top of my Bush puke, of course.)

  10. Your fucked if you live on the East or West Coast.

Bloomberg's Plan to Raise taxes like crazy in NYC is just the start, many of the metro areas will follow NYC's lead.

If your state does not have, Oil and Gas industry, Technology, Alternitive Energy Industry, healthy land and home prices, solid growth in employment, cheap cost in basic energy, realitive to the rest of the country, your FUBARED.

There are only a few states that are weathering the storm with the above.

And if you think the "Stock Market" will be left alone, you'r head is in the sand. Obama's collecitve parasites are coming into the arena where you "ET'ers make your money, to abolish, destory, rework, redistribute. The stock market is over people. The collective in this country blame everything on Wallstreet. It's over.
more outflow's in both hedgefunds and Mutual Funds this time around than any point in history, including 911.

Wallstreet is on life support and Obama is willing to pull the plug for the common good of the collective.
