You mean little "inconvenient" facts like Operation Fast and Furious, Solyndra, or the billions diverted from the great "stimulus" to shore up public sector pensions. Given enough time, the list would rival Bush's incompetence and corruption OR are you trying to imply that the current President who emerged out of the most corrupt county in this entire country is squeaky clean? Let's not even get into Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich or the legions of criminal lifelong Dems (and their shady organized crime benefactors) that litter Cook County, Illinois.
The bottomline is that your idol campaigned on a platform "to change the status quo" and to take on the "fatcat bankers" (his language, not mine). The fact of the matter is the guy is the epitome of hypocricy. He throws out of all his socialist/progressive platitudes to get schmucks like yourself into a lather, and then does the exact opposite. He's nothing more than a political puppet, much in the same mold as his predecessor. If the guy had actually prosecuted much of the fraud that still runs rampant in our politico-economy, he would have scored points on many fronts, but his "handlers" (i.e. those who bought and paid for him) wouldn't allow that to happen. Hopey is the king of "compromise" (i.e. a guy who is rudderless and lacks any and all leadership qualities). Really, he is a black George Bush.
Can you explain what is your objection to "Fast & Furious" or "Solyndra" I am not saying pro or con, but want to actually hear some signs of intelligent life from those right leaning. So kindly tell me what is the issue in your mind?
Listen... I got more IQ and rational thinking in my hand then you have in your entire brain. So please, spare me the personal name-calling. By the way, where did you go to school, hotshot? What percentile did you graduate in?
Most of the far right-wingers I have met and wasted my time debating have little use for facts; they are just angry that they don't make or have more money. Their god is money. That's what motivates them; money and material things! That is their sole purpose in life!
I'm not right leaning, sorry to burst your bubble. I'd have just as big a problem with the aforementioned scandals if Dubya or any other Republican were in office. I was just as outraged at the bullshit economic policies when Dubya was in office with Greenspan and his cohorts intention dollar devaluation, with oil prices skying into the stratosphere and just the overall lawlessness which brought about the implosion of the shadow banking system. Solyndra is just a perfect case study in crony capitalism or "fascism" if that is your cup of tea. An allignment of government and "private industry" to funnel taxpayer monies into the hands of the biggest fundraisers. Think Cook County..it's the same shit that is seen in a deal such as the decision for Richard Daley to sell the city's parking meter revenue to an outfit backed by Morgan Stanley (brokered by one of his nephew's) for a quick cash infusion, but which has already been spent. Meanwhile, the citizens get f'd by a doubling, tripling, quadrupling of parking rates, the city gets a lowball price for the deal and everyone gets screwed, except of course the politically connected...that's Solydra in a nutshell
I would be happy to give my thoughts on this. First, let me state that I do not believe the original mess was Obama's fault. But the man ran his campaign on promises to change "business as usual" and end the bailouts, and all he did was put more of the usual in charge and continue the same crony capitalism that Bush had in play. He put the same Fed Chairman who's monetary policy and bailouts had creature the "too big to fail" phrase in the first place, then he put in Timmah, Wall Street's best buddy and former NY fed guy. Larry Summers? Don't get me started. As for jobs, many companies (like mine) know that we are no where near out of this mess, and thus we do not expect good times ahead. So we're bracing for the next impact, not hiring. If Obama had been true to his word, and prosecuted all those guilty of fraud and theft in the market, he might have convinced people he was truly on the side of capitalism. Instead, he hid behind the aforementioned people and let them drive his policy (which was more of the same). So we continue hobbling along our broken down economy until someone addresses the root problems. For starters, flatten the corporate tax rate (lower) and eliminate loop holes. Then offer a credit back for every American on US Soil that is employed at the company.
You're an insecure and insignificant piece of trash. Still suffering from the emotional heart break of blowing out your account a few years ago?
My facts were facts.Your facts that job losses stopped"because there was no more jobs to lose(examples like the great depression says otherwise ) is bullshit Your bullshit answer that you dont hear about pirates much anymore maybe because Obama took the lead and sent the message that if they hijack US ships the only thing they could look forward to is a squad of Navy Seals and countries like Britain and France followed that lead Stay calm and come back as the level headed poster you usually are Tsing .I don't debate with angry people spewing nonsense
