Obama MIA

  1. Once again, we come under terrorist attack and Obama shrugs it off. First we have Fort Hood under attack and the presidents response is to give a "shout out", and now he's just too busy enjoying his tropical island vacation. WTF!
Bush took plenty of heat for his casual attitude, lack of response and seemingly confused attitude. He deserved every bit of that heat. It seems that Obama and his crew don't take this whole global terrorist threat very seriously. We'll see if he gets the same heat as Bush did. Is it possible that this guy is worse than Bush? Christ sake, let's just wave the f'n white flag for it all...economics, national security, the whole nine yards.

  2. What exactly would you have Obama doing?

Acting as hysterical as your post is?

Obama could tell his staff not to make stupid comments that the system worked, because passengers jumped isles to take the muslim down.

Janet Napolitano, the secretary of homeland security, told CNN yesterday that "one thing I'd like to point out is that the system worked." Yet the terrorist screening system seems to have failed in at least two crucial ways: first, in failing to revoke a visa to the U.S. that Mr. Abdulmutallab had obtained last June despite a later warning to U.S. consular officials from his own father that he was becoming radicalized and might have terror network ties; and second, in not adding him to a no-fly list from a lower-level watch list.

Brian Jenkins, who studies terrorism for the Rand Corporation, says there were more terror incidents (12), including thwarted plots, on U.S. soil in 2009 than in any year since 2001. The jihadists don't seem to like Americans any better because we're closing down Guantanamo.

Northwest Airlines flight 253 sits on the tarmac after requesting emergency help at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus, Mich.
.This increasing terror tempo makes the Obama Administration's reflexive impulse to treat terrorists like routine criminal suspects all the more worrisome. It immediately indicted Mr. Abdulmutallab on criminal charges of trying to destroy an aircraft, despite reports that he told officials he had ties to al Qaeda and had picked up his PETN explosive in Yemen. The charges mean the Nigerian can only be interrogated like any other defendant in a criminal case, subject to having a lawyer present and his Miranda rights read.

Yet he is precisely the kind of illegal enemy combatant who should be interrogated first with the goal of preventing future attacks and learning more about terror networks rather than gaining a single conviction. We now have to hope he cooperates voluntarily.

  4. A day after saying the system worked, Napolitano backtracked, saying her words had been taken out of context.

"Our system did not work in this instance," she said on NBC's "Today" show. "No one is happy or satisfied with that. An extensive review is under way."

Taken out of context? Seems like we're hearing that a lot for the Obama administration. A lame, sorry ass excuse if there ever was one. What "instance" was she referring to yesterday when she said it worked? This old broad is completely out of touch, and totally incompetent.

I'm sure King Hussein is conferring with his cabinet as we speak. Planning a visit to Nigeria to apologize for the arrogance of the US that obviously caused this poor misunderstood soul to risk his life for Islam.

  6. Possible? How about OBVIOUS to all but the most dense Libtard half-wits.

Man, if he can call a sit down with beer meeting over a little issue with a local cop and a teacher, I do not think it is unreasonable to expect SOMETHING for this attempted "bombing" by a terrorist wannabe.

  8. He is on a bender in Hawaii. When he sobers up he is going down and try to bribe someone to destroy all his birth records--again.

  9. You guys are too hard on Obama. His staff notified him yesterday (12/27) about the attack that happened on December 25th. I am sure he will have something to say about the attack by the end of the week. :D

KAILUA, Hawaii, Dec 27 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama was notified on Sunday about an unruly passenger on a flight to Detroit and stressed the importance of maintaining heightened security measures for air travel, the White House said.

  10. Right wing going into teenage girl hysteria over what Obama has or has not done...

Meanwhile, the same idiots whining over this incident, said nothing about this:
