You seem to think that im implying that Romney is somehow less of a liar, all i was ever implying is that politifact is partisan in the rating of both of their lies. The fact of the matter is that they are both politicians, thus they are both lying scumbags, basically as a politician the way you make it to the top is by never answering a question truthfully, and putting as much varnish on everything you say, as possible, thus never directly answering a tough question. Look at the video above(this is just one example i could provide many with romey) Obama is asked about all these various attack ads, and his response is "no one accused Romney of being a felon, then he shifts into talking about jobs, as if that had anything to do with the question. This is the way Politicians operate, and it pisses me off they will never answer a direct question. The people who are the most polished liars make it to the top, and we wonder why the country is so fucked. It really is a sad state of affairs that our journalists are so goddamn weak that they let them get away with this, if i was the journalist in the front row who asked the question, i would hammer it home 5-6 more times, and keep asking just to prove beyond a reasonable doubt to the average person, that he is dancing around the question. This is the reason why i hate almost every politician besides a select few and most specifically Christie, and Ron Paul, there are very few politicians who have the courage to come foreword and give you an actual answer on an issue, without shifting the focus to something else. I admit that as a right winger, i am biased in the sense that I dont call out Republican lies as much, and i dont notice them as much, cause they dont bug me as much, but im also not naive enough to believe that one set of politicians is any more truthful than the other. They are all liars who eat from the same trough.
The truth: Obama team: Romney committed a felony or lied to voters By JENNIFER EPSTEIN | Mitt Romney either lied in federal filings that show he worked at Bain Capital through 2002 and could be guilty of a felony, or has lied to the American people in saying he left the company in 1999, the Obama campaign is arguing in light of news reports on the firmâs filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. âThis is serious business,â said Bob Bauer, the Obama campaignâs counsel, in a conference call for reporters coming after the Boston Globe published a story Thursday that calls into question the timeline of Romneyâs involvement of the firm that the Republican candidate has been promulgating for years. Deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter laid out the issue as the Obama team sees it: âEither Mitt Romney, through his own words and his own signature, was misrepresenting his position at Bain to the SEC, which is a felony." http://www.politico.com/politico44/...mitted-a-felony-or-lied-to-voters-128757.html
Don't confuse the kids. Obama never said, in accepted context "you didn't build that" - but the GOP had banners made saying it. Too much to list here of course, but when they (the GoP) are used to having easy to control followers, they can just make shit up, repeat enough to the minions, and viola' all true. What a joke.
