gosh, a whole four schools collapsed and nine out of ten are doing ok... California's public schools probably are about equal to that deficient bottom 10%. LOL!!

Your gulity of exactly what I have been saying. The Media sterotype of the wealthy. Limos, country clubs..etc..Just like on T.V.

I can tell you have had very little real world contact with wealth.

Most wealthy people live in regular neighborhoods, drive Hondas. toyotas, 0ne household in 100 have a net worth of one million not counting their house.

Yes, there are the showy superwealthy, but their numbers are very small.

Even McCain ,with 7 homes lives in a relativly modest home.

  3. Uhhh... no, no one knows how many of the rest aren't doing okay because they removed the requirements for reporting. About 10 were inspected and judged totally unaccepted, 10 more wouldn't let the reporters in the door.

Some are good, some are abysmal. But nobody really knows, 'cause the private schools aren't measured.

Here's what was reported about a Harvard study:

"....compared the scores of fourth- and eighth-grade students from nearly 7,000 public schools and 530 private schools on the National Assessment of Educational Progress test. When factors such as race and wealth were taken into account, students in public schools scored the same or better than students at private schools, the government report said."

  4. Modest?

Modest "relative" to exclusive homes in Scottsdale Arizona...but not for the "common man" in "regular" Phoenix neighborhoods.

    LOL!

A ranch house, sprawling yes, typical for upper middle class neighbor.

A modest home for a US senator with a wife worth a 100 million dollars.

I think Obama's house for Chicago is much more rich looking.

If McCain's house seems overly spectacular, maybe you need to get out of your trailer park more often.

  6. The sprawling ranch home (not of the common man, but of the elite) is but one of McBush's homes...

The upper middle class might have a summer home, but not 7 homes or more...

McBush though marrying a bimbo heiress is in the top 1%...

McBush, like GW was born into a family of privilege, not one of common and humble beginnings...

He is an elitist, no question. Part of the ruling class, passing himself off as someone who is not an elitist.

Total bullshit of course, but those who were dumb enough to vote for Bush twice will vote for this old sack of shit too...

    They're all Elitist's.

Every single Presidential Candidate - save Kuncinich and Paul - are Elitist.

McCain's wife is heiress to a 100+ Million fortune.

  8. McBush and GW were part of the aristocracy before they got into politics, neither were self made men. Their accomplishments were greased by powerful fathers.

    Obama had no such luck...

  9. The vast majority of WEALTH (and I'm talking REAL wealth) has been handed down for generations and acquired by anything ranging from drug trade, slavery, genocide, you name it.

You can also simply read Bios of the super rich, they will do anything for money, screw over anyone, kill, lie, steal & cheat. So exploitation is a proper word.

I won't say all, but most without a question.

Idle wealth does not last over generations. By the 3rd generation (60 years) you may have 50-100 people to spread the wealth.

In the last 50 years wealth building has been less exploitive.
    Look at the Forbes 400.

I would say the uneducated urban male along with politicians has the record of doing anything for money, screw over anyone, kill, lie, steal & cheat.
