That's how I felt during Bush II. But, if it was morally right to sanction Iraq because Saddam merely possessed WMDs (remember the claim he could land them on FL in 45 mins? LOL) then it's morally right to sanction Syria now for actually having and using WMDs. Edit: not that I support this action, should it occur, against Syria.
holy shit dude, iraq wasn't based solely on the possession of WMDs! The case was made and accepted that saddams regime was a threat to us. I haven't even heard such a case made for syria. And again, saddam had used chemical weapons against his own people and neither of the iraq wars were based on that fact. Another aspect of reality that you are conveniently ignoring is that Congress authorized war in iraq and at the time, the public heavily supported it (like north of 70%). If you think that makes Bush a lunatic then how are you gonna feel about obama if he acts without Congressional approval, or even public support? please answer the question.
Fuck barry, we should just drop him on syria. seriously, the FSA is supposedly infested with al qaeda, so why in the world would we be threatening the guy who is allegedly dropping chemicals on them.. doesn't he deserve a medal or something? another thing, we haven't caught or killed a single scumbag complicit in the murder of of our own people in benghazi (apparently we haven't even tried) but we feel obligated to go help some other people who have absolutely nothing to do with us. Can someone explain this insanity to me?
