Not true. A Liberal is a hard left oriented person. Most Americans are near the center - center left or center right - from a political preference point of view.

Well, they are not that easy to define. Most of the time you can tell (eg, they go ga-ga about Obama) but it often requires additional skill and experience to know for sure. That's why I posted that ingenious scientific paper a little while ago.

What diff does it make if he's 90th most or 99th most. He's to the left of most American voters and most members of the Senate. And yes that IS consensus.
