  3. man, we are NOT a democracy for the tenth time. Speaking of inferior, 'pure' democracy is nothing more than mob rule anyway so you should be happy that we are a Constitutional Republic. Just imagine back during the cold war when i assume you were a commie adult, do you think mob rule would have worked out for you then? NO, so you are only in favor of mob rule now that you think your type is the majority.

Except that the poor are getting richer at the exact same time, rising tide lifts all ships.

The average poor person today has a tv a game system, a dvd player, a house, a/c, food, try going back to the 1950's and telling a poor person back then how hard your life is when you are getting all that for free.

Obama vows to focus all his efforts from now on on fixing the economy. This is a repeat from February 2009, November 2009, April 2010, June 2010, December 2010, August 2011, February 2013 and May 2013

'The White House is trying to drum up support for the speech, but it’s a tough sell, given how often the president has launched similar campaigns in recent years.'

Since efforts to improve employment are so long overdue, as you note, I'm sure the GOP will now begin to support his stimulative spending proposals.

They poured tons on stimulus money onto the economy already and it appears that it has not helped the least bit or created a single new job.
The stimulus money only served the fills the pockets of politically connected operatives with cash.
